Default Printing question

I noticed alot of yall print out the papers in kits and do projects with them...what is a good printer that prints good? I assume it has to print on 12x12 and on cardstock...

I have a 3 in one HP Photo printer and also a HP Color laser printer for large jobs. They don't print 12x12... if I do need something that large (which for my projects, that is rare) - I go to an office print shop. I print on double sided matte presentation paper... I've been warned that cardstock can really suck up the ink.

I love to print digi kits on Canon Matte photo paper. You can use both sides, but one side is white and the other slightly less white - I have to compare them to see the difference though. My printer is just 8.5x11 as well - Canon MP600.

I print on the same paper that Rebecca does. I make sure that my printer is set to borderless and set the quality to best. I am usually very happy with the results. I have never needed a 12x12 page.

I do have an Epson R1900 large format printer and like it very much. I don't really do printables on it, just use it to print the occasional photo or layout when I don't want to wait for Persnickety.

I have a Canon printer that I got for $80 and it is an AWESOME printer. Way better than my Epson that I paid over $500 for. And I get the Staples matte presentation paper and it works really well. Definitely dont get card stock- it will soak up the ink and the ink looks icky on it.

I have an Epson Artisan 725 which worked wonderfully until I had the grand idea to get a continuous ink system to save money. Now it prints funky colors and when I print out something b/w, it comes out with red on it. Grrrr. The good news is that I haven't had to buy ink in like 1-1/2 years LOL. I need to get a new one, but really I don't do hybrid anyway.
