Default Does anyone have a cure for stinky feet?

Not mine..my 11 years old feet are BAD!! No words can describe the smell!!

We've tried insoles with odor eating things, sprays, the powder..all which just mask the smell.

She's been borrowing my snow boots because her feet have grown since last year and I'm afraid my snow boots are toast because I'll never get the smell out!!

my son's shoes/feet start to smell if he wears his shoes without socks. Does your daughter do that? Also I read somewhere that the reason why it starts to smell is the sweat brings bacteria and if you alternate shoes (like having two or more pairs and wearing one pair one day then the next wear another pair) it combats the odors because the shoes dry out....if that makes any sense LOL

I had the worst smelling feet EVER as a teen. Pretty much nothing helped, ever. I alternated shoes, I wore multiple pairs of socks (instead of going to a sports practice with the socks I wore all day, I put on a fresh pair), I used baby powder to try and combat the sweat, I used athlete's foot stuff. Nothing worked. I just grew out of it.

Ditto Col.....pretty sure mine was my raging female hormones kicking in, cause I remember it starting in the beginning of 7th grade and then I got my period in January of 7th grade. It continued till I was about a sophomore in high school!

I don't have any cures, but I'll definitely be watching this thread. My daughter is the exact same way. She'll be 11 in February and OMG, her feet just about knock me over. She tells me I'm mean when I hold my nose around her, but I can't help it! It's just horrid.

I want to say I saw something about this on Dr. Oz. They recommended soaking your feet in tea. I did a quick search and found this article. It might be worth trying.
