as too much time in the Sweet Shoppe forums?

The other day I thought that I *might* be spending too much time perusing the forums because I went to Target and found the cutest little black fedora for Kennedy. That in itself wasn't the issue. The issue was when I first saw it, I thought... hey, it is like Colleen's... yes, from her avi pic. That is when I thought I might just be spending a little too much time in the forums. hahahhahaha

Or when I start talking about people (from the forums) like they are people in my real life circles... and DH or DD just look at me with that vacant stare like I've lost my mind.

yeah... I have those same thought... I'd be like talking to DH and say, "guess what, Libby is going to be having a baby!!!" or "Darcy says it's like 110 in Dallas"... he totally knows all you peeps!

Oh, you are SO not alone in that. I'm always telling hubby what people are posting or saying in the forums.

I haven't gotten into the forums here enough to do that but I was part of a group of mommy's years ago and am still friends with them and I do that I think it drove my ex crazy

That makes my heart happy to read that. hehe

I'm always telling Jeff about you guys, too. He's horrible with names, but I can usually relate it to another post that we talked about... "Remember Rebecca from my team? She's the one who just made Hybrid Babe a while back, and..." He totally gets it. LOL

I think it's bad... when the hubbies meet and talk (and laugh) about how their wife's conversation with the other wife is an endless circle of scrapbooking talk, hybrid talk and homeschooling talk... LOL (nevermind that we had just gotten our invites to be babes here... and we had met up right after the homeschooling convention LOL)

I talk about the forums all the time with my hubby. And I met my bestest friend of my whole life in a scrapbook forum, so I love them!!

My husband has a horrible memory and is worse with names. I get a vacant look talking about people he has seen and spoken to IRL!

That cracks me up! Love it! Is there some sort of SSD convention? If not there really should be! I'd love to meet everybody in real life!

Omg, I do that to. The other day I was updating everyone on the fact that there was a new kit for Vanessa and her daughter, and my mom looked at me and said "Oh! How is that going?" I talk about people on here enough that my family not only hears me talk about them like they're "real," but even can KEEP UP with their stories the way I do. :P

My mom even kept asking for updates on both La and Zoe during their big times of trial... still does. I told her SHE needs to learn to scrap so she can start getting to know you ladies herself.

I guess I am in the minority as I do not consider anything I do here or on any other forum as anything other than "rl" My scrapbooking and the connections I make with anyone through are all part of my life. So if I like someone or feel a connection with them I will talk to dh about them. He knows of several people and he will ask how things are with a certain person etc. I always talk about the teams I am on and such.
