tips for uploading
Can you share your workflow for saving your pages so that they do not exceed file limits for the gallery? I can "save for web" in PSE, but because it takes awhile, I'm wondering if there is an easier workflow for saving with intent to upload in the gallery.

I use a free action from MCP that sharpens and sizes for web. I use PSE and it works with Elements just fine. There are several "size and sharpen for web" actions out there. The MCP action sizes it to 900x900 pixels, which works for me because then when I use the save for web option in PSE, it doesn't take as long for that to load. Once I get it in the save for web window, I just resize to 600 pixels. At the top where you choose .jpg, there's an arrow where you can click and then specify what size you want your file to be and PSE will automatically calculate the quality. I do that and hit save.
If you want it to be faster, you can always flatten and resize it yourself (to 72 dpi, 600 pixels wide) before going to save for web. I usually think of save for web as a method to get the best quality for the file size limit here at SSD. I try to resize before going to save for web as it cuts down on loading time.
