I think it depends on where you go. I know I get looked at like a crazy person for sometimes.

BBQ, ranch or honey mustard. Never ketchup, I am not a fan.

If the fries are really good, I usually just eat them plain. Occasionally I like ketchup or ranch. And all of the yes to fries dipped in a Frosty. My family thinks it's the weirdest thing ever, but they don't know what they're missing!

I forgot to say gravy on fries. But a lot of restaurants, especially fast food restaurants, have crappy gravy. It's too watery or tasteless. Or they put in way too much salt. But a good gravy is like heaven with fries!

When I was a kid I LOVED A&W's gravy BECAUSE of how salty it was.. hahaha

I can't actually remember the last time I had gravy with fries though since i've been trying to be better about that sorta stuff.

We LOVE poutine! We make it at home but it doesn't compare to how Canadians make it.

I splurge on dipping sauce or gravy b/c I don't eat potatoes all the time, and fries only a few times a month.

I've never had REAL authentic poutine before. I probably will have my canadian citizenship revoked now. LOL

I eat my fries with BBQ sauce. But if they're from McDonalds, then dipping them into their soft serve icecream is the best! (a sweet/salty hit)

Well it had been a mixture of ketchup and mustard or frosty until now. No more ketchup for me though as apparently I have developed an allergy to tomatoes - so I think I will have to try ranch or honey mustard if I want to dip them from now on. A lot of times I like them plain though - unless of course they are fat fries then I really prefer to dip them. Cheese is always a good choice in my book as long as it is real cheese and not fake cheese.

I like both.

My favorite is Ketchup & Mustard swirled together.

Ketchup. I can't stand the stench of ranch.

We do chips and gravy here. Big thick cut chunky ones, not fries.

Ranch or "spread" from In N Out! YUM!
The BEST fries are at Cafe Orleans in Disneyland - they sprinkle garlic and parmesan on them and give a spicy mayo dipping sauce! Oh my!!

Ketchup or in my chocolate shake. Occasionally, vinegar if I'm in Canada. Never, ever ranch. Ew.

I prefer mine with mayonaise, but will eat them with ketcup or bare if I can't have mayo. Something I picked up in France and it's delicious. Every one I meet thinks it's the weirdest thing though

Ketchup.... unless it's take out... like McD's needs to be dipped in their sweet n sour sauce, and Wendy's needs to be dipped in a Frosty.
