Default Random confession #4

I bought pop tarts. I KNOW they're not food. But they were too cheap. And I had coupons. I'm a bad mother.

What is your random confession today?

I started my no wheat, no dairy diet up again yesterday. I've think I'm allergic and it tears my tummy up, but all I want is a tortilla. Now I'm trying to convince myself that one little one won't hurt.

So here's my confession: My name is Marla and I'm addicted to carbs.

I love strawberry and blueberry poptarts.

No confessions for me other then today people are really annoying me. Nobody seems to have any thought for other people anymore and it gets worse as time goes by. I try to be nice to people and use good manners and people are just so rude in return. (not anyone online but IRL here where I live...both people I know and total strangers)

Confession: I gave my boys leftover birthday cake for breakfast. Not because they asked but because if they eat it then i won't be tempted to. How bad is that?

Ok, here is mine.

I hired a teen babysitter for the week so that she could watch and entertain the kids while I work, clean the house, get the kids clothes in order, paperwork, and all that back to school stuff without being bothered by kids complaining about having nothing to do.

So there. This way, I can keep my sanity.

For the past couple of days, every thing my kids ask me about, I tell them we need to check with their dad first. Because I don't want to deal with it.

Oh, and they had jellybeans & skittles for lunch. Both are fruit flavored, so that makes them healthy right?

I bought a lot of yummy (and expensive) stuff from a bio / fair trade shop (teas, chocholate, spices).

oh fun! its been forever since I've had a pop tart. My confession is... I kinda let Emma try everything... she always has a balanced diet and drinks formula and juice only, but if I have a little cookie... she gets a bite!

I'm not supposed to eat sweet things (for various reasons), but I've been weak today and got a Macadamia cookie at Subway.

That's not a confession - it's my normal life

My confession is the baby woke up at 5AM today and I pretended I didn't hear him so hubby got up with him!! Then since he got up so early he fell asleep in my bed at 10AM and I stayed in there with him the whole time (he slept till like 1:30PM) reading.

Two of my kids were up before 7 a.m., the other one around 8:30 a.m. I stayed in bed until 10 a.m. lol (Of course, I did have to get up several times for their requests before I got up for real!)

I let my son cry in his car seat today instead of picking him up to comfort him, because we had a school appointment at 2 and the lady I was meeting with didn't show up until 2:45... I let him scream during our appointment, because it frustrated her. And for the record, I immediately went to the car and held him for awhile afterwards until he calmed down. He wasn't hungry or wet or anything... just fussy- it had been a long day and we're usually not out that long...

I unearthed a Reeses' in the crisper drawer in the fridge where we keep the veggies and things. I waited until the kids went out to play before I got it out and ate part of it. They came back in unexpectedly so I snuck it back to the kitchen and hid it back in the drawer under the bag of lettuce.

{whispers}I don't wanna take my birth control. I don't really want to have another baby, but I really want another child. I think about it all the time, and since we can't adopt right now, I just look at my pill and keep on walking.{/whisper}

Lol, I had a craving the other day for Ding Dongs...I have not had a DD since I was little! My son, who is 12, asked if he could have one and I said yes...he stated they were so good! I realized that he had never had one before! He has asked if he can have a twinkie and ding dong cake for his birthday!

I've done that a few times. Amazing how a crying baby or screaming toddler suddenly improves the speed of service.

I was exhausted after dropping my son off at practice at 7:30 this morning. So I took a nap. I got up late for pickup (oops!) and got there a little late. Only like 10 minutes and he's 14 and with Coaches. Oh well, I'm still exhausted (med I'm on) so I'm going back to bed NOW lol.
