What a BIG mistake

So I finally went and got all the Free Samples 2018 a few weeks ago. After I unzipped them all I started organizing them and deleting their zip files. When I was done, I deleted my trash/recycle bin. I thought it was strange that I had over 30gb of trash, but didn't think anything of it, until today when I went to go to DSI ((Digital Scrapbook Ingredient)'s folder and realized IT'S GONE!

I DELETED her ENTIRE folder. All my purchases from her gone! All the collabs she did with Becca Bonneville, when I was on her ct are GONE. All of my working file layouts (I don't delete the tiff until I print the album), are GONE!

I've gone through her store, luckily for me I put a lot of the collabs in the other designer's folder, so I'm not missing many collabs (well all of Becca's collabs, but I got them through Dropbox and there's no way I can prove I owned them). I came across these three products that I know I already own (the cart also flags them as purchased), but I don't know when they came out for me to check my downloads in hopes the links are still active.

Does anyone remember when these three products came out?

I found Twinkle, Twinkle----I got that March 4, 2018.

I just found the last one....thank goodness to my blackout coupon!! I knew I bought it with that coupon!

So outside of all my collabs with Becca, I found the ones that I purchased (Thank you to those who helped). I'm sorry I lost my ct work, but I can handle that over losing purchased products! Now to get swapping out these ports and installing this new hard drive so I can backup this computer instead of 1tb here, 1tb there of what I think is important!

Do you use a cloud backup? Like Backblaze or something!? I've made that same mistake (it's too easy!) and thankfully was able to redownload from my backblaze account. Sooo Sorry! Hope you can find your stuff!

No, I don't use a back-up cloud, or online website because I just bought the parts to swap out my usb 2 ports to a usb 3 port because the new 6tb external is a usb 3 drive and wouldn't work with my current hardware. Either way, all four products (the new ports, wires, readers and hard drive) came yesterday and I deleted her folder last week, trying to clean up the drive so I could just copy one clean drive over to the new hard drive.

I'm really kicking myself. I was trying to do right, get everything ready for the backup and dummy me, deleted a folder. I don't think I deleted anyone else. I went through all the folders near her folder to see if I dragged it in to another folder, but I don't see it. When I do a search on my computer the only DSI product that comes up is the new FWP which is still in my downloads folder.

You are so sweet! Thank you so much!! I did reply

All in all, the ONLY things missing are the collabs that I received while being on Becca's creative team and my working layouts. If that's the most that I lost, it's okay. I'm fine now. Earlier when I discovered it, I was so angry with myself. But since Becca is no longer a designer here, maybe it was time to say "good bye" to her collabs with DSI and move forward!

Now to get this computer updated and backed up!

I feel sick inside for you! I lost my EHD about six years ago and with it most of La's old kits and Fee's, which was extra sad because she wasn 't designing anymore but I was such a huge fan and wanted to use her kits to scrap my girl.

I'm glad you were able to recover most of it, but what a pain!
