Default How are you doing?

I just looked at the calendar and realized we only have a little over a week to finish up our FIRST Passport to Tomorrow. How did that happen? Didn't we JUST welcome in the new year a few days ago? Time is flying already and so is this month's challenges!

With that said, how are you all doing?

How many more do you need to get done to complete?

Are you stuck on any challenges?

and I also realize ALL MONTH LONG, I've been typing "PTSS" for my gallery listing thinking it was "passport to sweet savings". Welp, guess I can't read - - or retain information!

My progress. . . . .would you believe I made a list and now I can't remember where I put it?!

If I can remember correctly, I'm missing 4, possibly 5 challenges.

I KNOW I still have to do the following-
#1 One Little Word - Fresh
#7 Photography
#9 Seasonal (birds)
#10 Typography
**that was a challenge itself, trying to figure out how to download the font!

Not done yet....I still have to create 5 layouts and I am stuck with the looking back/looking forward one. My memory is really bad after a 10 day stay at the ICU so looking back is the worst because I have a really hard time remembering & documenting things (that is why I hardly do journaling) so yeah, not looking forward to this one and I'll probably make this one last.

I also have no idea which kit to use for the #15 color challenge. If anyone can help me out......please !!

Got a scrapping-day planned tomorrow......first NRs (if there are any) and after that focusing on the passport layouts

10-days?! Oh no, i hope you are okay. I didn't know you were seriously ill!! If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know! But I'll be praying for you, for sure!!

For the 2018/2019....what if you used a photoless page with a 2018 journal card and a 2019 journal card in either corner? Almost like it's a title cover?

The ladies posted this wonderful video over on IG for the colorswatch:
https://www.instagram.com/p/BsL9v4RDvaj/
I also used the charity kit for Amber Shaw, it was perfect for those colors!
here's my layout to show you how close it was to the color swatch

I haven’t made as much progress as I would have liked... still a little overwhelmed by the entire process.

Yeah I find myself funny!

I'm currently working on #9.....I'm almost done my layout. Now I need to find the photo that I want to use and that's going to take me a while to do because I've not organized ANY of my photos from 2018

You got this, Jen!!!
I write all the challenges down in a spiral notebook so that I can refer to it easily and see what I need to get done And, if I come up with an idea, I write it next to the challenge so I don't forget.

Haha, I thought you meant like on a personal level. Which, btw, I am doing GREAT. First January of my life I can say that.

I am not doing challenges because we transitioned back to the Philippines this month, so I figured I had enough on my plate without setting myself up for scrap failure. Next month I'm starting an online ESL certification course, so maybe March I'll try the challenges. You girls are so inspiring with your layouts!

I finished too. And pretty excited since I only ever managed one blackout for bingo! I've been scrapping a ton and hope to keep it up. The challenges definitely pushed me and I did some things that I wouldn't have done otherwise. Both good things!

I managed to get two pages done... but that's two more than I've scrapped in a long time! I got a little busy this month though, so I don't think I'll manage to get any more done.

I finished! I usually got the blackout done early in the month too but not this fast. There are less prompts I think than with the bingo so I'm happy about that part!
But now I'm waiting for next month impatiently... lol

I hear you about waiting for next month!! I started a big project to keep myself busy- my son turns 21 next year, and I do albums for the boys when they turn 21 of their life to that point. Limited to the pages in one album, so that's the challenge there! LOL Maybe start a project if you need inspiration?

I can't wait to shop too! My husband doesn't want me spending money so I've been trying really hard not to buy any scrap goodies. So my wish list is growing!

I have 6 done so far. (Well, 5 if you want to be technical! I'll be done with #6 shortly.) Only 3 are posted, so I have to catch up there. I don't think I'll make it to 12 this month, but I'm going to shoot for either 12 or 18 in February. The one that's tripping me up most (or would be if I was going to do all of them and couldn't just skip it!) is the shadowless one. It's the only one on the Passport that I feel like I'd be scrapping only for the challenge, rather than for our family's album.

Yikes that is a challenge! I don't envy you! You got this though! I know it'll be beautiful when you are all done!!

Yikes, that's hard!! All of these amazing goodies! I know I've been filling my wishlist again. I'm going to have so many things in there I won't know where to start when I get my birthday money in April!

I struggled with that one as well, which is why I did it first to get it out of the way! A lot of people are making newsletters or magazine pages. Maybe think of it that way? Then if you really hate it, after you post it in the gallery, go back and shadow what you want to make it you!

Awww, you moved I'm sorry that you've transitioned back to the Philippines. I'm glad your January is great!! That's awesome!! I think you have a very valid excuse for not participating much this month!

I think you have a very good excuse for how busy you have been. Two pages is two more pages than you had in the beginning of the month!

I can't wait for February, but I can....time goes way too quickly!

I'm down the middle. I have some finished (and they came together quickly) and there are others, I just don't have much of an idea for. Mine aren't numbered in my notes, so you get the prompt. I still need:
Product/ futuristic kit- I have an idea, I just need time to make ti work.
quote- no clue. I just can't think of a page to use it on.
featured- will be easy, just need to do it.
journal- I don't have any idea where to begin with this one. No clue
photography- have an idea, I just need to do it.
to do list- None of my to do lists are post or scrap worthy.
currently- not sure. I may have an idea, but I have to figure out a kit to use for it.
Scraplift- may or may not get to this one.

So, I can basically work on a few more layouts. I have ideas for at least a few. But there are some that just don't seem to make sense or seem doable, so I will probably pass on those!

Good luck to those of you finishing up!

How are you all doing?
Okay... we've been super busy with kids' sports & activities, so that's eaten up a lot of my scrapping time! Although this next weekend is pretty chill- so that should help me get it caught up!

How many more do you need to get done to complete?
I have 5- #5 to do list, #6 Love, #7 Photo/change, #9 Birds & #16 Magazine/noshadow

Are you stuck on any challenges?
I know I've left the magazine style one & the photo/change one for last as they didn't inspire me immediately!

I've got 7.5 to go
I was doing well and then the 3 youngest all took turns at being poorly which completely put me off!

I've got 4, 5, 8, 9 (half is done), 13, 14, 15 and 18.

I finished mine earlier this week and now I'm kind of at a loss for what to do next! I have a LOT of Christmas photos to scrap, but I am not feeling the Christmas vibe right now. So, waiting for February's passport. . . .

I have 2 left--
To Do List (just need to place embellishments on this one)
Wild Card

You guys, I can't believe I did this many pages this month...all but 1 were pages that were on my list of things to scrapbook. I am so very grateful for the challenge & inspiration! In 2018, besides Project Life (which I did the majority of between mid-October & first week of Jan), I only made 3 scrapbook pages!!! It feels sooo good to have done 16.5 in the first month of 2019!
I've slowed down this week since I got a job teaching preschool in a brand-new classroom (like, the school literally built walls around what was a lobby last week!) so I've had a ton of work to do in there, but I'm determined that once I get the initial set-up of my room done, I'll figure out how to "do it all"!

That's fantastic!! You're almost there!

The challenges really are a great way to get inspiration!
I hope you'll continue with the challenges once you have your classroom set up

Are you going to finish it this month?

Which challenge(s) do you have left?

Are you stuck on any of them?

I have 1 left to do, the currently one. It's half done but I was too tired to finish it last night.

Just Wild Card left to do... strangely, this is the hardest one on the list for me!

Product/ futuristic kit- I have an idea, I just need time to make ti work.

photography- have an idea, I just need to do it.
to do list- None of my to do lists are post or scrap worthy.
currently- not sure.

How you doing with your list? I know you have been super busy this month with real life, but I wanted to see how it's going?

Okay... we've been super busy with kids' sports & activities, so that's eaten up a lot of my scrapping time!

How are you doing?
Did you do the magazine style and the photo challenge?
That photo challenge was the last one that I did because, while it didn't stump me, I didn't know if I could pull together enough photos to show a progression. But thankfully last month I photographed me making pizza---don't know why I did it at the time, but I'm glad that I did!

Just finished my #6, and I started on Monday, so I'm pretty proud of myself. It's been wayyyy too long since I sat down and scrapped, but our office remodel is nearing completion and it makes me so happy to sit in here now.
