To all €uropean girls:

I have found that when paying directly by the credit card, the exchange rate is a little bit better than PayPal has. Especially for those shopoholic I recommend checking your local bank exchange rate and then chosing between PayPal and Credit Card payment...

Yes, I realized that there's a difference by paypal and credit card payment... But still... I wish the euro didn't drop down that much.

Come on, what's the prize?

I dare to say I am one of the biggest spenders around, together with Adriana (helenvader). Slovakia rocks the town!

I admit I DO spent a lot. My previous job was paid very badly and now that I have switched to be public sector employee, I earn almost twice more... so I feel like a queen now and maybe trying to reach (and compensate) things I missed during those past three years

Just to explain very briefly: I am a lawyer. Currently, junior lawyers get usually minimal salary guaranteed by law when working in private sector. In the 90's everyone wanted to be a lawyer and it was soooo hard to get to Law Faculty. There was only one in Slovakia. As years passed by there were new universities established... now EVERYONE who is able to pay for the study gets the Master degree and the diploma... the labour market is overfed by lawyers! When I graduated in 2006, I was unemployed for 4 months - with the degree from the best University in the country and living in the capital! Now the people who graduate law can hardly find a job and I know people who were unemployed more than 6 months. Employers misuse this and pay the employees mostly just the general minimum the law allows (regeradless the education reached and work performed).
