Not that anyone knows me or anything to want me to check in, but Im ok! LOL We're 30 minutes from New Braunfels and we got a TON of rain and lots of wind. Lots of trees down and clean up, but other than losing power for quite some time, we just got a ton of rain.

There is a lot of devastation in New Braunfels, lots of damage, homes lost, businesses completely demolished. I pray they can recover quickly...

It breaks my heart to see this. I had not heard about it. It feels like only yesterday we were going through the same horrible scene here in Nashville. My prayers are with you all and I hope everyone is ok.

oh WOW, those photos are incredible. I live just outside of Austin, everything is all ok up here! I've gone tubing out of the Rockin' R though - it's definitely a local tradition to ride tubes on the Guadalupe. I can't believe that place is gone.

and all those poor people who had their homes flooded...;o(

Im north of Austin in Leander and we got horrible thunder and lightning and a bunch of rain but no flooding like in New Braunfels. Thank goodness that the only thing we lost from the storm was sleep. My boys were in bed with us plus we have a dog with horrible thunderstorm anxiety.

It's so sad! I feel for the people and businesses, I'm another that loves tubing the Guadalupe. The storm came through here, we had crazy lightning & thunder, hard rain, but we've had way worse, even this year. You just never know, weather here is crazy!

I was thinking about you guys! I know we had a LOT of htunder and strikes here, but no flooding. I'm headed to Port A this weekend and will drive through NB... I'm always sad to see the flooding there. A friend's mom got swept away in her car the last time (was it 7 years ago?) Stay safe friends!

So sad! I'm in north east Texas and we just got a lot of rain but nothing like that. My thoughts and prayers go out to those that suffered so much damage!

Im just a little SE of San Antonio. We are still getting the trees cleaned up. We have a natural creek that runs along one side of our property and it brought in a bunch of junk (ice chests, trash, etc). We had 80mph winds where we are and we lost not only trees but some fencing as well, which is a huge PITB because we have horses.

Those photos are amazing. I actually just started crying looking through them. We were out of town so I hadn't even heard about the flooding yet. I went to college in San Marcos so we went to NB all the time. I hope it doesn't take an eternity for everyone to rebuild.
