LOL, my 6yo is taking pix
with my camera (point and shoot). I can hear him muttering stuff like "too much light." And just now he just came up to me and asked me to turn off the flash. This is cracking me up b/c this is exactly what I sound like when I take pix. "too much light, wait, I have to turn off the flash."

LOL...I think it is a GREAT thing that our kids have point and shoot digital cameras to learn to take photos with. My dd loves taking photos but (before digital cameras) who really wanted to waste the money on film and developing to find out he/she took 24 photos of the carpet LOL....
My kids are always playing with my cameras. good practice! |

That is soooooo cute! My 6 yo DD automatically goes into photo pose when I get the camera out...she knows her angles. Now that is really sad isn't it? What are we doing to our children lol! Maybe we will see your budding photographer with a vogue cover one day!

aww. how cute!
my neice loves the camera. it's pretty funny. but i agree, it's much better now. when i had my first camera, there were MANY rolls of film that were either out of focus or blobs or my own hand. digital cameras are so much easier for little kids! |

i hope he doesn't ask to see the pix. I'm a bad mommy and I deleted them. Hey, I'm running out of hard drive space! (he usually looks at them on the camera right after he takes them. I think he knows a blurry pic of nothing isn't necessary to keep LOL).

LOL! That is adorable Mimi! My 9yo keeps bugging me about when I'm going to get his film developed! I haven't developed film in so long I forgot how! I so don't want to spend money on getting prints of nothing! I have to buy him a digi cam for xmas!

I let both my boys use my camera I don't have a DSLR (I don't think I could just give that over...LOL!). I have to say my older son is MUCH better than my younger son LOL! In fact, yesterday, youngest was taking pics while I played basketball with the oldest. There were many body shots...kinda scary But, it's really fun to see what is important to them! My oldest likes to take people shots - especially of his brother. My youngest likes to take scenery shots.
