Default Any stamp collectors here?

Just wondering because my kids and I recently got really into it! I find myself in desperate need of a stamp collecting kit!!

My dad had a stamp collection when he was a kid. When I was a kid I begged him for years to get it out. My dad and I collected together for the rest of my youth and it left me with some great memories. I wasn't even sure if people collected stamps anymore! I'm glad to hear the hobby is still alive!

My sister did stamp collecting. I don't know if she still does. She actually found out she was allergic to latex because of stamp collecting (the glue on stamps has latex in it).

I used to collect stamps as a kid. Had books of them. No idea what happened to them once I left home though.

It's kind of crazy for me - I had my mother's old album on my shelf since she passed away when I was 20, but I never really looked at it until this year. I showed it to the kids, and they were all super interested, and so that is how we got started. It's fun and a great way to learn (homeschooler tendencies LOL). We signed up with the Philatelic Society's youth club - they sent awesome binders and tons of stamps for the kids!

I collected them as a teenager/young adult and have carted them around in a box for years now! All themed ones like Disney ones and Lord of the Rings etc.

I collected until I started college - I started with the collection my grandfather had and then my mother added to, and then me. It's cool to look at all the stamps from back in their days - I have some starting with the late 1800s all the way up through the early 1980s. It's pretty cool. My daughter never showed an interest so they sit in a box
