Default How often do you purge?

I just went through and purged kits from 2009 . I have no idea why I was holding on to them! How often do you purge? Do you keep certain elements no matter what?

Um, I still have everything from way back when (2009-ish)... but I have moved old stuff off my hard drive so its now only sits on the back up drive. I just keep getting more hard drive space to fit it all!!

Only when my EHD crashes and I discover that Backblaze hasn't actually gotten around to backing up all the files inside my folders...

I have a super huge EHD, so I keep it all there, even though I'll never need most of it again. I only keep kits on my laptop that I really love, though.

I am like most others.... have lots and lots of kits from way back but they are now only stored on EHDs.

I'm a lazy purger. 😶 I wait until I'm getting short on HD space. That used to force me to purge often, but with hard drives getting so much bigger there's not as much need. I keep a few old kits on my EHD for sentimental reasons, but usually I just keep any unique elements and delete the rest.

When I feel like it There are some old kits that I really like that I still keep. Some that don't fit my style any more, I purge.

Most of my stuff is less than 3 years old.

Funnily enough, I have several alphabets that are 7-10 years old... and I rarely even use alphabets on my pages. I guess it just makes me feel good to have them around.

I only have a laptop, no desktop, so I purge anything I'm not currently using as soon as it's downloaded and store on the EHD. And then I go back to the EHD and pick what I need for my next project! But I pretty much have kit I've had since I re-started scrapping circa. 2010 on that EHD!

I don't think I do because I have an end, but I delete some old freebie kits/templates that I'm sure I don't use for my photo books.

I've got an EHD with kits on from 2009 but I do purge stuff on my laptop now and again but not very often.

At least once a year if not a few. I'm not a pack rat by nature in any aspect of my life so that carries over to my computer - LOL. I haven't purged quite as many things this year because I haven't been buying much in the past year; I did delete a bunch of templates this week that I'll never use.

I'm a digi and memory hoarder so I have a hard time purging lol
I normally purge when I'm running out of space, whether that be my computer hd or my ehd. I have gone and purged stuff that I know I'll never touch or haven't touched in years. I normally keep themed kits more than generic kits though.
