Default Lego Kidsfest? Any experience?

I just heard about a Lego Kidsfest coming to my area and wondered if any of you had been? I'd love to hear about the experience as tickets are a bit pricey ($18-20) and if it's just to play with legos, my kid can do that at home. LOL

I heard of it and it did come to AZ but we opted not to go. I thought it was too pricey and honestly, we spent less on the tickets to Phoenix Comicon (4 day event) compared to attending LegoFest for ONE day! Plus, the information I read wasn't really specific on what you can do all day other than playing with legos.

Darn, I was hoping to hear it was good, but looking at the pics and info on the website, it looks like a big Lego advertisement.

One came here last year. DH (a Lego fan since childhood) tried to get my oldest (a Lego Star Wars fan) interested, but like you he couldn't find enough details to convince DS to make the drive and give it a try.
