Photo question
I seem to have a LOT more horizontal photos than vertical ones. Am I the only one vertically challenged?
I also look for templates with more horizontal photo spaces!!

I'm the opposite! So many vertical and few horizontal! I do a lot of flipping and modifying templates to fit what I need!

With my phone I tend to take more vertical pictures. With my DSLR I tend to take more horizontal pictures. I end up with a fair mix I guess.

Exactly what I was going to say. Just tonight I got out the DSLR to make some photos of the kids and I had to remind myself to turn the camera vertical lol. But with my phone it's the opposite. Thank goodness I like adjusting templates to suit my photo needs.

I have more vertical than horizontal but I always change templates around to fit my needs. Make the photo space more square or change its angle or even flip the whole template 90 degrees.

I adjust templates too but they never look quite as good as the original did!
That makes sense that phones are easier to take vertical pictures on and cameras horizontal. You guys are so smart! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm a horizontal gal. I like to get the scenery when I'm out and about. I'm another one that doesn't like to mess too much with templates, so I'm always in search of ones with more horizontal spots.

I tend to take mostly vertical shots but do crop into verticals for scrapping sometimes but the majority are square or horizontal when scrapping. Never really thought about it before but I should switch things up and do more vertical cropping.

I think I'm pretty even with both! I love Horizontal for scenery photos, and when taking photos of the girls, I will do both vertical and horizontal, since you get different backgrounds/details with each.
When scrapping a page, I will open both the vertical and horizontal copies, and scrap whichever one I like the best! (even if this means changing a template photo space...which I have done quite a bit!)

I remember this being an issue when I was scrapping more often, usually I solved it by selecting all the layers for that photo spot (like, any mat papers underneath, etc) and rotating just that photo 90 degrees to make it vertical or horizontal. If that messed up the template too much I would crop it to a square shaped photo. Sometimes the whole template could be rotated to work but sometimes it was just ONE photo out of the template that I needed to be a different orientation. I never shopped for templates based on the photo orientation because I never knew exactly which pics I'd end up using with it. I have to say... templates with square photos make me happy because I don't even have to worry about it!

I have a pretty good mix and I adjust templates when they don't work with my photos.

I try to take a mix of photos. I am better at horizontal if it is scenery based, but I do try to do both knowing that I will be scrappin them later.
I have such a huge collection of templates that I generally can find something to work or tweak it.
