Default Anyone else guilty of forgetting their camera??

I do this so many times and I wish I had photos later on. For example, we've gone to parties, shows, and other events that I wish I had photos to scrap now but I forgot it at home. I also wish I had taken my camera to the hospital when my daughter had surgery a year ago...I just wasn't in a frame of mind to remember it. Now that she is good I really want to document the experience sooooo I'm just going to opt for a non-photo layout when I get around to it.

Just curious.

I still have MAJOR regret that I forgot my camera for my oldest's baptism. And no one else had one either. We just had to take photos at home afterwards. And that was 18 years ago.

Yeah... I have one DSLR, 2 P&S... and both our cells have cameras... so you would think I'd remember ONE of them... LOL! I'm getting better, though.

I'd just use a picture of her, a doctor kit (there are super cute ones here like Libby's!), and lots of journaling about it. I've done that many times and it's exactly why themed kits can be SO excellent to make a layout shine when you don't have the perfect pics!

I do this too which is why I'm saving up for a point n shoot to put in my purse... although, if it's anything like my cell phone I'm sure the batteries will be dead when I need it

I keep a little one in my purse for just that reason.

Guilty! Or I bring it and don't pull it out! I'm also known to be at home and never take pics and I really should because I bought a nice camera back in May. It is part of my growth plan.

I always have my camera in my purse, and of course there's my iPhone camera. But having a camera and remembering to use it are two different things!

Yes!! There are so many times when we go to my inlaws and I decide to not bring my camera. Seems when I leave it at home, something adorable always happens. You'd think I'd know better by now!! Even though they just live a couple of houses down, it still stinks to go back and get my camera because by the time I get back, the moment is over!!

I always, ALWAYS have my camera with me. But, I often forget to get it out and take pics. I haven't taken pictures on Thanksgiving for several years now. I just get wrapped up in talking and eating and being with my family, and I forget to take photos, and I'm always really sad after the fact.

nope...I carry my camera with me every where I go. You never know when you will need a camera. I started taking my camera with me like two years ago now it is in my purse all the time.

Tony always has his camera bag and camera with him, no matter where we go. I have started to take mine everywhere too, never know when you might want it! I share lenses with him, so that gets annoying when he takes the camera bag and all the lenses, and I'm here with no lens for my camera LOL

I am half thinking about selling my Rebel XT and buying something a bit smaller (ie, a good point and shoot that I can use some manual settings) because something smaller would fit in my purse.

I don't drag my D40 around with me all the time because its heavy & bulky. I bring it if I know I am going to want to take photos but only then. I have a little Polaroid P&S I got a few years ago that I used to slip in my purse, but now I just use my camera phone. Because my phone is also my mp3 player & audio book player I always have it charged & with me.

It happens. But I have a point and shoot that I try to keep in my purse. It worked out for me last night when I was sitting waiting for a train and thought "Oh, I should take this for today's p365 picture".

I would recommend getting a point and shoot that you can slip in your purse. And like the other gals said, just scrap that hospital page using the elements from a kit to help fill in where you don't have pictures.

I always carry a small P&S camera in my handbag... one never knows!

When going for any trip, visit etc. I take the Ultrazoom instead...

Ditto! I'm so in the moment at the time and then later I am cursing myself for not snapping a photo. Sometimes I feel like I annoy people taking so many photos so part of it is that too!

*raises hand* um, yeah I do carry my little point and shoot in my purse, but it is usually without a battery or memory card . I have been better recently but like I went to scrap Halloween pics from last year and realized I didn't take ANY. Like srsly?
