Does anyone have an Android phone and Mac computer?
Do they play well together?
Ideally, I'd like to get an iPhone, but we have T-Mobile and I don't see the iPhone as a possibility anytime soon. I really need to get a new phone, though, because my BlackBerry just isn't cutting it anymore. The sound quality of the calls isn't great and I really need a phone that I can actually make phone calls with . |

eh, they do but you have to install an app on the computer and the phone. I used Doubletwist. It converted all my itunes and backup for me. It is free. It worked it was just a few more steps and drove me nuts at times. Now I have an iphone (just 2 weeks ago) and a happy camper. Hopefully they will have that option for you soon.

I have Mac and Android. Everything on Android is Google based, so nothing is stored on the actual phone. You can transfer your contacts from Blackberry to Google contacts and they stay with google. Your calender, task lists, will be based on Google. I have my google contacts, calendar, tasks synced on my Mac. So, it's seemless. For pics and music, I can connect my phone as hard drive and transfer it that way.
I AM eligible for an upgrade in a week though and really looking at moving on to iPhone. I still love my Android phone (HTC Evo), it does everything iPhone can do.. I just thought with having iMac and iPad, it makes more sense to move to iPhone. Still haven't decided 100%, but I'm 90% there! LOL |

Thanks, guys! I got the Samsung Galaxy SIII today and am amazed at how smart that smartphone is! I think it's going to take me a while to get it all figured out, but I think I'm going to like it a lot!
