Confession & *NEW* stuff From Amber Shaw!!
I feel like I've literally been missing from the community here for forever! A few months ago I started homeschooling our youngest son after some bullying and other issues that were getting nowhere with the school system. I thought "how hard can it be? I'm already home" -- WORKING that is! Boy did I not know what I was in for! It had taken quite a toll on us as a whole and it did zap my creativity when it came to making solo work. Until this kit - YES, it's late. Very late to the shoppe. But you guys! I couldn't wait another week to share it. I finally got inspired and was so eager to illustrate the flowers and super fun and chic elements in this kit. To say that I'm overjoyed is an understatement! I hope I can keep this mojo going for you all! Sorry it's late - better late than never right? AND it's 40% for our iNSD sale. So really you're winning here!
check it out, as well as my scoops with Megs and Kelly! How are you spending your holiday weekend? Scrapping, collecting stuff to scrap later or enjoying the weekend doing something else? closer look at the kit: the cards: Then OMG -- this super glitzy princessy goodness with Megs. My heart! closer look at the kit -- swoon: And this super fun, bright, and delicious stuff with Kelly! closer look at the kit... don't you just want to eat it all up? |

This is absolutely gorgeous, Amber! I'm so glad you found the mojo for it!
I know how hard homeschooling can be... I homeschooled my boys for 5 years. My youngest was being bullied (in a private Christian school no less!), and my oldest was having a hard time with the cookie cutter system that didn't work well for an active boy. So from 4th & 5th grade through 10th & 11th grades we homeschooled. We graduated my oldest before we moved to Idaho. He had enough credits & is in Junior College now. My youngest wanted to go to public school for his last 2 years of high school. It was such a transition having them gone all day after having them home for 5 years. Hang in there! It helps when you've gotten into a groove and he (and you) know what to expect each day.

Thank you Grace!!!
Thank you Tammy for the encouragement! Whew, he is just not a conformist, I'll say that lol. But he's starting to slowly understand that work does not just go away because we want it to. I'm hoping next year will be easier and he matures some as well. |

Glad you found a solution that works, even if it does take you away from us a bit. Funny how we have our own plans but in the end we do what needs to be done. Love is such a powerful thing.
Your new kits are beautiful!
