Snow Day anyone!!!
Good morning to all my Digi-Scrappin friends. I got the phonecall at 6 am this morning and here in Illinois we have ourselves a SNOW DAY!!!!! It is the second one so far this year but this time I think we really needed it. I think we got around 7-8 inches here and it is so pretty and fluffy white. It is 27 degrees too so I am sure my kiddos will be outside ALL day having fun and NOT bugging me
 I do not have to babysit my niece either so I am virtually a free woman today -YIPEEEEEEEE!!! What am I going to do with myself ???? Oh yeah, SCRAP, SCRAP and SCRAP. Maybe even try a Hybrid or two!!!! Have a FANTASTIC day all of you and I can't wait till the Shoppe opens tomorrow with all the new goodies

Tooo many IESA match ups today for any districts around here to cancel.
And from the looks of it outside, we should have. But awww well...I'm not very mad...Its Friday afterall! Enjoy your snow day.

I just told my 10 year old No School and he is actually MAD!!!! He does NOT want the school year to last one more day than it has to and now he has to go an extra day - poor little man!!!

As I have been sitting here grazing through the forums and gallery it has NOT stopped snowing, it is almost blizzard like right now. This should be an interesting day for us all. I wonder if my DH will even make it to his office but he is still sleeping so we shall see!! On a happier note DS #2 is happy now because all his friends are on Club Penguin so now he has something to do ( It is 7:17 a.m. for petes sake, should'nt he be sleeping???)

That is the first thing I do when I get the call for a snow day...Crawl back in bed. My boys are big enough that they like to sleep in now too! We have a small chance of snow this am but I doubt much more accululation. I hope you son enjoys his day. Kellie I wills send some snow to you too. LMBO!

We got snow yesterday, but there's no snow day today. Kendra was super bummed (she went to bed SURE that they wouldn't have school). But it's ok. I'm checking her out early, and we're going to see the Hannah Montana 3D movie tonight! Woo hoo!!!

You have to love snow day! Unfortunately we only have hurricane days around here!

they predicted 3-8 inches last night for us here in Indiana, but we barely got a dusting...I can still see the grass. BUT, we did get the 5:45 am call for a 2-hour delay.

Have fun!! We're back to school though the principal said that the kids won't be going outside to play because it's WAY too cold out.

We had our snow day here in Kansas yesterday! School was out so that meant both my girls were home and my DH (he's a teacher) was too. Instead of me getting to relax and scrap all day he decided we needed to spend all afternoon cleaning the girls' room! It really really needed it but why we just had to do it yesterday I don't know lol!

I'm in Illinois too!! We have so much snow here too!! I'm so excited, except the drive to work this morning wasn't so fun because IDOT hadn't cleared the interstate yet. Hooray for snow days!!

Laurie...when we had our snow day on Monday...I was like...WHY aren't the plows out yet? Turns out the plow broke because it was so cold, lol. So we're still driving in deep snow because they haven't been able to clear it yet or get another plow from another county to help.
