I haven't seen it but want to. Amazon is selling it for a good price now.
Also, you might be interested in seeing King Corn.

I refuse to see it because I fear that I will never be able to eat food again. It sits on my Netflix instant queue.

this movie will definitely affect your appetite
i'm glad i watched it though. on some level i knew these things were happening, but i guess i needed to see it with my own eyes to really believe it. it has definitely changed the way i buy food. just do yourself a favour and don't watch it while eating. or after you eat. or before. or anytime even remotely near eating time

I seen it and it was interesting. Definitely changed the way I think about food.

I want to see it really bad. I try to Eat Clean (unprocessed, whole food, meat without hormones, steroids, etc), but I'm not as diligent as I should be and I eat a lot of crap too. I'm thinking that this video will cinch the deal for me, lol!

We try to eat clean, as well, and watching Food, Inc. just enforced what I already believed. Parts of it made me want to puke.

Yeah, I'm so blessed to have the option to buy from a local organic farmer (he provides delivery). And also local Grass-Fed Beef, etc.

It's eye opening and disturbing without being terribly gross. It gives a ton of info the general public never hears about where our food is coming from, how limited we are in choices, and how easily it could be wiped out. They really focus on how cheap it is to eat badly and how it's wrong, how the government has hurt the farming community, and how a few corporations really do change how we get our food.
Definitely a must see. Between it and Animal Vegetable Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver, and a couple of websites (homegrown revolution is one), it definitely changed how we eat and look at food...most definitely. |

The only films James & I agree on are documentaries, so that is all that are in my queue....that particular one has been in the instant queue for 2 months now but I haven't watched it yet! Now I really want to find time to!
