Default question about boys

Do all boys feel the need to talk about bodily functions? Burps, farts, bathroom activities? Or is it just my son. I am the only girl and eww I do not want to hear a 30 second burp or know he just farted everytime he did. (he is 15 btw) I thought he would outgrow that by the time he was oh 12 or so.

Yep, boys think its the greatest thing on the planet. All 4 of mine are always talking about it, laughing about it and seeing who did the best one! Sometimes this even happens at the dinner table. I put my foot down about that and they get in huge trouble but it still happens. Sigh.... Oh and the hubby and I have a deal that if he does it in front of me now that I get a 5 min massage for every one!

Well, my 38 year old "boy" thinks he must... I'm a bit afraid of getting a smart phone, DH has already made comments about wanting to take photos of some of his proud "masterpieces"... *sigh*

LOL I was afraid to say it but my husband compared going to the bathroom today to having a baby. I told him fat chance...having a baby way harder

We're the same way! I think that I'm probably the worst about bodily function jokes around here.

I think they are just born that way... mine is 2.5 and thinks it's SO funny. Just tonight, he laid on the floor, on his back, pulled both legs back & let one rip... seriously, boys are strange!!

LOL Amanda. My son will actually walk into whatever room I am in fart and then laugh and run off. And my husband is not ashamed at all. He will do it whenever whereever. And his reasoning? Dr. Oz said if you hold it in youll explode. While he did say it is not good to hold in bodily functions he never said explode I dont think LMAO

I live with 5 males and yes, they are all like that. Sometimes DH is the worst about discussing all of it. I will say though that when DS1 was going through all his tests for his stomach problems, I think it made it easier for him to talk with the doctor about his bodily functions because he's used to it. So there IS that. (looking for that silver lining)

Is it any wonder I wanted a girl dog? (didn't get one )
