Default Can we share plaid kits/layouts for the no.5 challenge?

The aqua kit thread really helped me a lot, did anyone start one for the plaid challenge?

Here's one I did recently, although not for the challenge. I had never used a plaid background before, but I like how it turned out.

The kit is Sisterly Love by KCB and Meg.

I haven't seen the rules of the challenge, but you can make any striped paper into a plaid. Just duplicate the layer, rotate 90 degrees and change opacity to 50% then merge.

So apparently, I don't like plaid paper. I looked through my gallery and found no LOs with plaid paper backgrounds.

Great tip, I cannot search through my stash to find plaid pp ('cause my ACDSee isn't working), but it'll be easier to find a striped paper! I'll try this!!

I wasn't 100% sure what plaid was?! I guess we simply call it chequed or tartan in the UK. Glad you asked the question about choices - who'd have thought language would be a problem when it comes to simple patterns?

Just thought I'd share a plaid layout of mine. I have some where they are mostly the backgrounds, but this one totally is!! This is also with La's At The Bus Stop.

Rachelle mine wasn't a plaid paper....I took the advice of someone earlier in the thread and just duplicated a striped paper....turned it 90 degrees and lowered the opacity to 50%....volia....instant plaid paper and stretched a kit to boot

OK this is possibly the coolest thing EVER!!! I love plaid papers...mostly for matting under a solid or paper piecing but now I can have a plaid to go with just about any kit I own and I figure I can make my own striped papers if the kit does not have one I really like with the solid papers and then create a plaid that way. That is just to cool! So thanks!!
