I am reading The Bourne Identity. I figured it was high time I read the book my favorite movie is based on.

I am reading I See You Everywhere and it is not that great. I just got a notice from my library that the ebooks I requested are ready. So once I finish this book I will move onto The Book Thief.

I did just finish Pillars of The Earth for the 3rd time while I was waiting for my Nook to be delivered.

I just read Skeletons at the Feast (I liked that one), The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency (I love the tone of this), and the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris (good, but I thought the last book was sort of like her last Sookie Stackhouse- just not well edited and sort of out there with the story line- not pulled together enough).

I just bought The Book Thief, so I am glad to hear everyone likes it.

I'm between books - waiting for The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society to be available at the library.

I've recently read The Help (excellent), The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (not as good as I had hoped) and The Unit (thought provoking).

ETA: I loved The Book Thief. One of the most compelling books I read last year.

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen - Not my favorite of hers so far but hopefully it'll blow me away at the end. It's hard to beat Pride and Prejudice so I am comparing everything to it.

These are the ones that I have downloaded on my ipod to read next:
Emma and Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen
Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
The Scarlet Letter - Nathaniel Hawthorne
A Room With A View and Howards End - E.M. Forster
The Age of Innocence - Edith Wharton

I'm reading a nonfiction--Born to Run by Christopher MacDougall, which I'm really enjoying. After this I have Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, and probably start on Vampire Diaries series or City of Bones.

I'm actually enjoying the book. I had it out of the library over Christmas and didn't get to read much so just checked it out again..lol. Was pleasantly surprised to find my bookmark still marking my place. I also just started P.S. I Love You by Cecilia Ahern...I don't know anything about it, was just browsing the shelves at the library and it looked interesting. About to start reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I'm never happy unless I have a few books on the go at once.

LOL I didn't even realize it was a movie until I pulled out the book to figure out the name of the author and my DH goes...oh that's a movie. So I had to look it up to see if it was based on the book. I really find the premise interesting and love the way it's written. Not too far into it yet but really thinking I'm gonna enjoy it.

I just finished the Sookie Stackhouse series, and I absolutely loved it.

Right now, I started the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich because I wanted something light. It is just sooo funny!

I, for one, abolutely loved The Poisonwood Bible and the Time Traveler's Wife.

And Pillars of the Earth is my favorite read.

I'm reading the Sookie series. I think I'm on book 6. And I'm on Eclipse in the Twilight series again. I bought Julie and Julia to read - that's probably next. Also picked up Michael Crichton's last book, Pirate Latitudes. I have so many books that I have to read.

I have The Book Thief...I had a hard time getting into it so I'll give it another go.

The Poisonwood Bible...it was just meh...sorry

I'm starting book six tonight in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Totally not like anything I've read before....

I do have Teddy Kennedy's book started...I'm about half way done and I'm really enjoying it.

There is a new political book out this last week or so and I'm dying to get it!

Have you read the rest in the series? I'm a HUGE Alex Cross/James Patterson fan

I'm not reading anything right now. I just finished In Her Shoes, and I liked that.

I want to read the bible this year, but I don't own one and there are SO MANY out there that I don't know which one to get.

I use both NIV (New International Version) and NLT (New Living Translation). They are both in language that is easy to comprehend.

If you're looking for an even more modern version, The Message is also really good. It reads like someone talking in this day and time. I don't use it for every day study, but I like to read it to get a different perspective. And there are many websites that can give you a guided reading if you want to read the Bible thru w/in the year or a certain time-frame.

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these. Poisonwood Bible is NOT fun to read, but it's incredibly thought-provoking and challenges many assumptions. EXCELLENT book club book. Just loved the Book Thief.

Dexter by Design. I cannot stomach the tv series at all, but the books are amazing. I don't want to finish this one yet since it's the most recent, but I've got no choice since it's a library book.

We got that book for my mom, can't wait till she is done with it so I can read it.

Right now I'm reading Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult. I seriously love her books. I thought My Sister's Keeper was a great book too.

I'm 'listening' to Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver (it's what I do when I work in the mornings and everyone's still asleep)

I'm reading a few gardening books and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer

Still trying to finish up #3 in Percy Jackson series as a preead for Connor..I'm giving up, though, and letting him just read it. I hate Greek mythology :P

Uggh! I really didn't like Prodigal Summer. There was just so much sex! I was really disappointed because I loved the Poisonwood Bible. It's made me hesitant to try her other books, although I do want to read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.

AV&M changed my life, honestly...I may not be able to become homesteaders like she is now, but we're working towards starting!

I guessed you would have read this one, Darcy! I've heard a lot of really great things about it.

I'm reading Shadow Puppets by Orson Scott Card. It's a sequel to Ender's Game, which I HIGHLY recommend. Amazing books.

Before that, I finished the 12th book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Pretty much one of the best fantasy series ever.

I think I'll be reading Stephen King's Under the Dome for quite a while yet. But as soon as I get my Nook I'll be getting Dear John too.
