In all seriousness though, awesome article Rebecca! I'm a huge fan of Aviary for photos and I adore Evernote for storing clips and notes on just about everything. I planned our entire trip to Europe last year using it and it ended up being a catch all for all sorts of things regarding the trip!

I am using the Journey app (ANDROID FRIENDLY! AND FREE!) for my Countdown to Christmas album this year in hopes that I will then be in the habit so I can use it for PL in 2017.

You can have it send you a daily reminder to journal and then attach locations, the weather, multiple photos, etc. to that entry.

You can also use it with Chrome:

I use some of the ones you mentioned, like Instaweather and screenshots of things I want to include in my albums. If I had an iPhone, there are a few more you mentioned that I'd start using!

My memory stinks--one of the main reasons I started scrapping was because I knew I wouldn't remember months or years later what was happening in a given photo, what cute thing someone said or did, etc. So my favorite go-to app is Diaro. It's just a journaling app that I'm in the habit of using, so almost all of the information I journal on my pages comes straight from my Diaro entries.

I commented on the blog post, but I don't think it ever showed up. Just wanted to say I LOVED that post, Rebecca! I am obsessed with finding fun, new apps, and while I'm already using several of the ones you mentioned (InstaWeather, InstaPlace, Collect, etc), there were a few that really caught my eye. I'm most interested in Photmyne since most of the photos I have from when Logan was a baby need to be scanned, and let's be honest. Ain't nobody got time for that. I did some research, and apparently there's a similar app called PhotoScan that's currently free. I'm planning to download that one and give it a try. Thanks so much for all the awesome recommendations!
