Default What's your favorite technique or trend?

I couldn't find many examples in the gallery, but I love the single layered frame with various other papers behind it like these:

what's yours?

Oh yes, I love diecuts. Those are all the rage in paper scrapping!

I also love mixed media. Missy Whidden is a paper scrapper who does mixed media on almost every single page she makes. She has a YT channel that I obsessively watch/listen to while I scrap at night.

Mine is paint / ink splatters. Since I like to scrap "flat" pages, I find paint always add an extra something to my page.

Paint for me, too. I'm trying to scrap faster, which for me means using fewer elements. Paint goes a long way in adding interest to a page with fewer layers.

Seeing how two of your examples are my pages ...I love the same as you! I love the look of a piece of paper being cut up (usually shapes) to where I can place pretty patterned paper under it....known as die cuts as LeeAndra mentioned.
