Question Journaling Question

So I'm getting the hang of the scrapping on my computer and really enjoying it but one thing that I just can't seem to get right is my journaling. On paper layouts, my favorite way to journal was on little strips of papers. I really liked this because if I made a mistake, I could just redo it without having to redo the whole layout.

How can I recreate that same look on a digital page?

Thanks!

Oh! This is so easy. A lot of kits come with strips for journaling and you can use those, or if you are like me and tend to be verbose you can figure out how wide you want your journaling, pick a paper and put it under your journaling and then use either the polygonal lasso or the rectangle marquee to cut strips from the paper.

I can do a video showing you my steps if you like.

Draw a rectangle strip on a new layer. Fill it with white. Duplicate the layer and move it to where you want it. Repeat till you have enough strips. You can transform the shape to make it longer or shorter as required for your journalling. Once I have enough strips I merge them together then clip a paper to it and add a shadow.

What they said ^^ LOL!

I like it when kits come with journaling strips too. Or use labels/tags like this

Once upon a time Misty and Darcy had some awesome strips together! I know there are some somewhere, but maybe they are retired! I will look for some but I think you could easily make some with just a shape tool and clipping some plain paper to it!
