Disneyland Paris is on my wishlist! Actually, I really want to go to all of the Disney Parks around the world. Shanghai is supposed to be amazing! I know you're going to love it!

Me! I'm going to Bali this summer; we go every summer for a conference, but this year we're tagging on a couple of extra days to do touristy things. Any suggestions, Sherly?? I love your home island!

But I've really been wanting to visit the Chocolate Hills here in the Philippines, but since we went to the States AND we're going to Bali, even a little local trip isn't in the cards right now. Plus we can't drive there, so flying puts us starting at like $500 before we even get there. : ( Maybe next year.
Chocolate Hills:
And also they have these guys:

OH!!! I am excited for you! I always get excited when I go home! Hahaha... Not sure when I am going back again though...
Where are you staying, Kellie? Nusa Dua (any hotels there) will be good to stay with kids. They will have access to the beach any time!

Sunrise seeing at Gunung Batur is amazing if you don't mind waking up at 4 am to go there.
Go to Jimbaran for freshly grilled seafood.
If your family like river water rafting, they have a few spots for that in Ubud.
Pasar Seni Sukawati is a place to buy some Balinese souvenirs.
Bali Zoo is an awesome zoo (a bit pricey though), they also have water park and playgrounds for kids if you buy the full access ticket.
Waterbom is a wonderful water park.

That's what's on top of my head. If you need more, let me know, I'll think about something

I'm tagging along with my sister to a Once Upon A Time convention in Whippany, NJ in June. In September, the two of us will be off to Chicago for the Stargate convention there and then then in early December we're heading down to Disney World for a week.

Yes! We leave on vacation in 1.5 weeks!!!! I am so excited. It's the first time we have vacationed as a family of three, the first time my son has seen the Pacific and a trip we have talked of going on for 2 years. We are going to San Diego. We plan to go to LEGOLAND, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, the Safari Park, Coronado Island and just hanging out on the beach for sure. We still have a full day free yet so who knows what else.

Oh, gosh, we are going the week before you. From the same state to the same vacation spot a week apart. Weird.

Spring break for the kids is the end of the month - we want to do something, but can't make plans right now as his schedule is too uncertain for the next three weeks. This summer we are going to hopefully head to MN to visit family with a stop in WV to see more family. If my husband is home and can go, that will be the trip. If he is gone and we don't have to worry about his leave schedule I think the kids and I may also go further west to Mt. Rushmore while we are out there before heading back to VA.

Try to drive through North Dakota. It's much prettier and has more towns along the interstate than driving through South Dakota. You could visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park then, too. It's beautiful.

I second Mari. North Dakota is gorgeous (especially out west)!

Oh that is good to know thanks! We will actually be in northern MN visiting so ND would be an easy place to make the trip - our life is still very much up in the air right now...this is not part of life that I like at all, I just want to be able to make plans for next month, the summer would be awesome but even being able to plan next month would be nice...sigh patience

Zion is amazing - and so is Bryce! If you pass by Cedar Breaks it is completely worth the view to stop for even half an hour if you have the time (I think if I'm remembering it's between Bryce and Zion maybe...we stopped on our way back from Salt Lake City heading back to Vegas) it was stunning. Oh I miss visiting Zion so much, and Arches was stunning too! We love visiting national parks too

Oh that is too funny!! I hope you guys have fun! I'm super excited - just hope it's super nice when we're there. We're having such nice weather here we're like...it's probably going to be nicer in MN than CA!

haha...that's what I keep saying, too. Needs to get cold at home so I can enjoy the California weather more.

If you decide to come through ND, message me beforehand and I will give you ideas of where to go.

I went to Arches last year. Probably one of my favorite places I have been. Moab, Utah is awesome.
