Default Photography book and blog recomendations

I am looking to expand my photography skills more. I have already taken the beginners class at clickin moms and it was awesome...I am much more comfortable taking pics on my DSLR in manual but I was looking for additional materials that I can go through on my own.

Also, enable me on what photography blogs/sites you follow. I'm not really looking for professional photography business blogs/sites but more like photography informational sites that do lens reviews and things like that.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I would advise you to also start doing project 365 and posting it to a blog (even if it's private). You will actually be able to SEE your improvement every day! It's a lot of work but soooo worth it!!!

I think I may have told you this at work the other day, but I have really enjoyed the Scott Kelby books on digital photography. I have Book 1 and Book 2, but Amazon has a great price if you buy the set (books 1-3). I read Book 1 before I went Asia, and I think it really helped me. Some of Book 1 is really basic and is good for DSLR-shooters and P&S shooters, and some of Book 1 is applicable to DSLR-shooters only. Book 2, however, starts DSLR only. I've not mastered all the concepts in Book 2, so I haven't yet bought book 3.

I like Texas Chicks blog. She does reviews of different photography classes she takes which is interesting to me plus she does some artsy photography not just portraits.

And if you are on ClickinMoms then you have probably already found I heart Faces but in case you haven't I like that blog too!
