I knew a girl at work who went back to India for a traditional wedding. I LOVED talking to her about the traditions and rituals of her wedding. The significance of the gold jewelry was really fascinating!! all we have is the bouquet toss, LOL.

I still have all of my jewelry. I don't think I can ever let go of it. However, I did replace my waistband. I had totally forgot about it till MIL told me last night about it that I got something else made from it. It was gifted by her. But we both knew that I would never wear it again.

All of my jewelry was custom designed based on what I asked for. It was a long process, but lots of fun! Of course, my dad and uncles who joined me to the jewelers were bored to death for 4 hours!!! lol Now that I think about it, my dad didn't set a limit on how much I can get.

You know, every time we get dressed up, I think of digi designers that they would have a field day if they get their hands on our jewelry and dresses/sari with all the pattern, textures and colors!
