Grrrrr... monitor calobration!
I was forced to calibrate my monitor using my huey pantone calibrator for work. Turns out, my monitor was seriously off, but now that it's right... everything looks WRONG!
I've never adjusted this laptop, so I got used to seeing things one way for nearly a year, and now I know my brightness and contrast were both too high. So now I feel like everything looks dingy! UGH! Tell me I'll get used to it! LOL

You will definitely get used to it! And the benefit is that your pages should print better!

how do you find out how to calibrate it? I want to, but when I googled it, I couldn't find anything that would help.

I am so in need of calibrating mine, too, its so soft its ridiculous, but I can't figure out how. Its a super good monitor, but when I got my new puter, they didn't work off eachother as well.

I had the same issues with my new 22" widescreen monitor. It's hella nice but came with the wrong colors and contrast and brightness. I used my video card utility that's in the control panel to fix things. But I'm thinking of buying a Spyder Express to really calibrate it well.
