Default Removing facial blemishes?

Or scrapes/cuts, what is your favorite way to do it?

Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, enlighten me. If you have a good tutorial you use, point me in that direction please.

GreyRaven - once you get up to 10 posts, you'll have a higher level of permissions . . . just some limits that were set up to try to keep the spammers at bay. Keep posting away, and WELCOME!!

Vanessa - I usually use the spot healing brush first as well. If it's a bigger area, then I switch to cloning . . . same as GreyRaven.

Pretty much the same as Lydia. I prefer the spot healing brush to cloning, but I'll use the clone tool in some cases. Reducing the clarity in LR (or noise reduction in PS) also helps for lots of small imperfections.

I rarely use the clone tool for it. I almost always use the healing brush. If I do need to use the clone tool for what ever reason, then I'll use the healing brush after to blend the shadows and stuff in so it looks natural.

I also don't really use the spot healing option - I use the other one so I can choose where I want to grab from (the spot can grab weird stuff sometimes, though I've noticed Photoshop CC does better at detecting surroundings than earlier versions).

Depends how big the area is. For smaller corrections I use the healing or spot healing tool. For larger areas I usually use the patch tool set to content aware.

Thanks girls. I use the spot remover in LR for most things, but this is a really bad scrape for a client.
