Default Cookies for Santa

So what kind of cookies are you leaving for Santa? Do you leave out milk? Anything for the reindeer?

This year L.J. decided we need to make these since he already gets so many cookies.

Those are cute! I'm not a good cake ball maker. LOL!

Last year we left chocolate chip cookies and a few Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. We have left carrots for the reindeer before but just if we happen to have some.

My 5 year old made reindeer food at school to sprinkle on the lawn, so that's done! I found some gingerbread ninja cookies that we are going to make - hopefully there will be some left for Santa

I bought a kit at Cost Market that has the gingerbread mix, icing, candies and 4 ninja cookie cutters. It was inexpensive - worth it to get the cutters out of it if you're interested!

Hahaha - Cheyanne is finally too old to believe in Santa but I told her to leave out my favorite cookies (Hawaiian snowballs) and a glass of Reisling

I normally leave out cookies for Santa (Wes) who is usually up before me. Now that we have a new kitty and she likes the counters, I wont leave anything out. I might put a little something in the fridge for him instead.

those are super cute! I actually just scrapped a page of my kids making santa cookies in 2011, lol! We have a tradition of making our sugar cookie dough from scratch in the morning, making the shapes and cooking them in the afternoon and after dinner, we let the kids go crazy with the frosting. It's really fun

Last year the boys decided Santa would like a ham sandwich to offset all the sweets he was getting everywhere else DH decided he'd also like a dram of Scotch but the boys said you can't drink & drive so Santa had iced tea instead.

This year ...hard to say. There will be chocolate chip cookies and eggnog, which is the usual thing.

My daughter left a brownie out with the cookies quite a few years ago and santa ate the whole thing (he always leaves a bite or two of the cookies). After that Santa was just left a brownie. The reindeer got carrots as well.

Peanut butter because they are Santa's favorite - and daddy's too!

Plus carrots for the reindeer.

It's going to be whatever we have on hand this year because I heard Santa went low carb to get off some weight and he's not eating cookies. :P

this is so weird for me. My youngest is 10, so this is the first year in 21 years that we aren't doing cookies for Santa. I mean, we still will have them around the house, but I'm sad about all these "traditions" that are fading away now that Logan has matured. He wouldn't sit on Santa's lap either. I don't like this getting older business.
