Default Help!!! CS trouble!!

Please help ladies....My CS keeps closing unexpectedly and I am not sure what to do...I tried closing and restarting my computer but that doesn't work....i am lost!

That happened to me on my old computer when I was low on RAM. I added more and it solved the problem.

Definitely sounds like it could be a temp memory issue. Are you getting any specific errors?

Or it could just be a corrupt file, which could be fixed with reinstalling.

No it's a new computer so I have plenty of RAM...ugh I may just have to reinstall...thanks for help ladies!

I would try reinstalling. Have you installed anything new or done any new updates that could be messing with it?

That happened to me with my Elements 4 when I updated to Leopard. When I upgraded to CS3, never had that problem again.

If you have a new computer with Vista...maybe CS is not compatable? I have no idea, but that was a thought I had.

I'd try deleting the Preference file before I'd reinstall. Also have you installed any new fonts?

According to Adobe's site, they don't support CS with Vista and don't recommend installing it or running it. CS2 doesn't appear to be officially supported either.
