Default What's on your front door(s)?

It's time to switch out my front door decorations and I need some inspiration. I have double doors that are painted red. Show me what you've got hanging on your front door.

A note that says no soliciting

We had a big hailstorm here a few weeks ago, so we get knocks from roofing 'inspectors' 3-4 times a day now and it's driving us nuts!

LOL, Darcy!

I have nothing on my door. I've always been bad about decorations. And the last wreath I had scratched the paint right off the door (which I had to re-paint) so I am going to keep it simple.

My new house has a glass front door and the current owner has a pretty burlap wreath with her last initial kind of dangling by a ribbon in the center. I really like the way it looks, so I will probably so something similar.

A no soliciting notice is on the outside of my screen door, but otherwise nothing. I'd love to have something, but you can't see our actual door through the screen door, and if it's on the outside it'd get covered in dust and pigeon poop :/

my mom always "yells" at me that putting something on your door means that you are morning a death... goes way back.

I have an umbrella with flowers in it hanging on my door...

something like this on pinterest

nothing. I would but we have a screen door that covers it from being seen and it just makes me sad. I do have some stuff on my porch though. I've got two mushrooms and a gnome chilling by my door and a wind chime hanging off my porch light.

I have a paint stick flag right now. It is my favorite door decoration and I usually have it up from Memorial day to Labor day. But I didn't have any "spring" thing up and needed something, so I put it up early.

Nothing but paint and a knocker. We also have a screen door, but the top half is glass so if I really wanted to hang something (something very thin!) it would show.

Nothing here either. At Christmas I'll hang something but that's it. We have such harsh winters and rainy springs it just isn't worth the aggravation.

We're in the process of moving and my new place won't have anything either since we have a screened in porch so not really worth it because you can't see it unless you're actually entering into my house.

Nothing at the moment. I don't have a porch so anything I put up has to be able to withstand the weather. I have a simple twig wreath that I put up sometimes and decorate a little bit for holidays.

All you people with nothing....you're killing me!!! Maybe it's because my mom always made something pretty for the front door when I was growing up? I don't know, but I feel like such a slacker if I don't have a decoration on the door.

Thanks for the doorknob comment there KCB...you made me LOL!

i have a wreath. i usually just swap different wreaths out. this one is a grapevine wreath with maroon (imitation) flowers attached to the front. i had a gorgeous burlap wreath out that my SIL made but i couldn't see out the peephole which caused a safety issue...so down it came

i have a pinterest board for all the wreaths i love!

though i LOOOVE the umbrella! that's so cute!

LOVE that! I'm not crafty enough to accomplish that though! And I have nothing on my door.

Dust. We never use it and it has a screen door on it, so the dust builds up. And I'm all, "I'm not dusting a door."

This gorgeous wreath that Jackie made to match my house:

I loved it so much, I bought one for my step-mom and one for my mom.
