Default I am on the hunt for...nsr

Good games my family will love. We have never really been a board game family, but I really would like to get a few good games this year for Christmas. I have a girl who is almost 11, a girl who just turned 9, an autistic boy who is 7, it would be nice to find something that will interest him, a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 2, probably too young for anything. Thank you!

Sequence is awesome. There is a kids version and an adult version.

My kids are 6, 8, and 11. We play a lot of apples to apples, make sure you get a junior version. Right now they are also loving clue. 6 year old needs to play with an adult, but the others can play on their own. I like that it requires a lot of thinking on their part. We still love Uno. Other fun card games are phase 10 and Monopoly deal. Trouble still gets pulled out quite a bit. Yahtzee Jr. is lots of fun for the little ones.

This is too complex for the younger ones but your older two and possibly your 7yr old if he's into trains might like Ticket To Ride..a fave around here

We played Wahoo at a friends house the other night and the kids loved it. It's a marble game similar to Trouble or Sorry.

We also love the card game Phase 10 but that requires strategic thinking so might not be good for the younger ones.
