Default Extraction and Blending Queens..

you know who you are..

Would you explain your techniques/tricks/shortcuts on how you get such perfect extractions and flawless blending (like when you cut part of the picture out and the picture seamlessly blends into the paper). I was cruising through the gallery and am so inspired to do it but don't seem to be able to get it right.. KWIM?

*sorry if this has been asked a million other times*

I use gradients as masks to blend one photo into a paper or one paper into another paper. As for extraction, I just make sure the selection tool is on anti-alias and use the point to point selector with a smoother of about 2.
