Default Memorial page help

I'll try and keep as short but pls bare with me.

My mother suddenly died 2 weeks ago at 56yrs old. We havent had a memorial yet as we are waiting on funds (go fund me etc) and wanted to see how the COVID panned out.

I want a scrap layout in her memory since she loved my cards, but I am NOT dealing well and I cannot do it. I wanted to have one ready in place of the memorial cards they hand out.

I was thinking of hiring someone since it would also produce a higher quality product then I can on my phone.

So here are my delimas and questions
1) if I pay someone to do this is that scrap for hire and crosses over into commercial use territory?
2) if I end up doing it myself Is it commercial use?
3) does anyone have any layouts that are similar to this?

Thanks in advance for any advice

oh Ashley I am so sorry for your loss.

I don't have answers to your questions but maybe someone here could create a page for you?

I'm so sorry for your loss! Prayers for you and your family!

My understanding, you could pay someone to do it, they would use their own product (You could suggest a certain product for them to use, and give them the money for that product, but it is THEIR product.) They would create a flattened item for you, and then if you want to use it to print a program or announcement, it is yours to do as you wish.

Does that make sense?

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I don't have any experience in this area, but I hope you are able to come up with an result that you feel like really honors your mother's memory.

My condolences on your loss, Ashley. Prayers for you, your mom and family.

When my mom passed away, we wanted to do a keepsake for her memorial and decided on a book marker since she was an avid reader. To create it I went with a print company, Vistaprint, because of the all in one service. They allowed me to create it from the ground up, with some of my scrapping supplies, but also have a lot of stock images, and then get it printed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. They have options for photo pages, posters, etc. as well. I believe they also have people who will help you put something together. If not, let me know and I will help you.

I'm so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your mom, big hugs!!! Please accept my deepest condolences!

1) If I pay someone to do this is that scrap for hire and crosses over into commercial use territory? As the consumer, you are not responsible for tracking the commercial use requirements, the person/company you work with will need to understand anything related to CU.
2) if I end up doing it myself Is it commercial use? Not unless you are selling it.
3) does anyone have any layouts that are similar to this? I don't, but I bet you could find some inspiration on Pinterest.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom and at truly such a young age. It sounds like answers and offers of help have come your way and I am glad for that. Wishing you much strength, love, and peace as you move forward.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I love my dad 6 months ago and still haven't been able to scrap about it, it's just too raw of emotion.

I did the slideshow for my dad's funeral and then converted it into a photobook from Shutterfly. Photography was one thing we had in common and where my love of photos and memory keeping came from, so I really wanted to do that for him and my family. The keepsake cards were done by the funeral home though.
