Default Netflix originals... your faves. And... go.

So I just finished watching a series called Atypical about a teenage boy on the spectrum and all the family dynamics and I. Loved. It.

Sadly I watched them all in 2 days and there's no new episodes

Any other good series I should try out?

Stranger Things is at the top of my Netflix Originals list. We really enjoyed it. If you like action/super heroes, my boys really like Daredevil (although it is a bit violent/gory).

Ok, my dd kinda 'made' me watch the first season of Stranger Things and I got through it ok, but I was really only watching it for her. But when she was visiting me for Thanksgiving we watched season 2 in 3 days and it was AWESOME.

We've watched:
- The 100
- Friends (always watching and re-watching that)
- The Crown
- Eat Your Words (cooking series)
- The Big Family Cooking Showdown (cooking series)
- Fuller House (cheesy)
- The Great British Baking Show (cooking series)
- Zumbo's Just Desserts (cooking series--not sure if it's still on Netflix)

I think I watch a lot of cooking series

Not a Netflix original, but we are loving the Good Place. I also recently watched Anne with an E and loved it.

People who write negative food reviews are challenged to make the food they complain about. If their food averages above a certain grade, they get a gc to a restaurant. If it's below, they have to post on Social Media and "eat their words" about negative reviews.

I totally forgot about Anne With an E! As an avid Anne fan (ie. read all the books, have the movies memorized)... do you think I'd approve?

I was like you, when I watched the first episode, i started off thinking, "There are some things that should not be perfected upon..." but by the end of the first episode I was weeping over how beautiful it is. The actress's portrayal of Anne is spot on, imo, and I didn't want to binge watch it, just enjoy each episode for it's own beauty.

Thanks for the list, Wendy!! My boys are on their 4th watch-through of The Office. It's not my favorite, but oh well! :P

I would really like to watch The Crown, but I don't know if I could get hubby & boys to watch it.

Oh, one that we really LOVE is called Chef's Table. It's beautifully done.

I have been watching Rotten. It is a documentary series on the business of food. I have found it super interesting.

I have that saved to my list but I haven't tried it yet. I thought it was just a single documentary.

Thanks for reminding me to watch Anne with an E. I loved the movies (and read the books!) so I'm looking forward to this series.

My son wanted me to watch 13 Reasons Why. He watched it first and then watched it with me. I cried ugly tears at the end. I honestly did like it.

My DH and I LOVED Jessica Jones. I'm looking forward to season 2. We loved Luke Cage too (binged and finished it while visiting in-laws last year).

I watched 1/2 of the first episode of The Crown. I need to go back and continue.

I just got done bingeing One Day At a Time (I think that is what its called) - light hearted, this season they have more social/cultural issues - but that I love the mom on that show, she is a hoot!

We also love the Ranch and Master of None.

Fuller House

But I'm nostalgic like that. I just bought myself a Bayside Cheerleading teeshirt and a NKOTB teeshirt with a photo from the early 90s this morning.
