Gallery problems?
I uploaded one LO fine and I'm trying to upload my photo for the shutterbug shakedown and it keeps giving me an error message. I have checked and the file is under the 150k limit so I don't know what is wrong. Now it says 3 images in your queue. Anyone know what going on or how I can fix it? Thanks!

I've never had that problem, so I'm not sure how to fix it. Hope you get it uploaded!

That's really weird. You know that they're not the wrong size because if they're going into your queue it means that they have started the uploading process.
Have you tried going straight into your queue...go into the gallery and act like you're about to upload something (go to upload photos), but instead of plugging in the info there, scroll down to where it says "extra options". In that box you should see a line that says "Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory" with a checkbox next to it...put a checkmark in the box and then hit "upload/submit". It should take you to the 3 images you have in your queue and HOPEFULLY let you finish them off. |

Do you have a lot in the description area? Sometimes, if you take that out and just upload without any description, it'll upload.
Then for the queue, go to the second upload button in the extra options section and click on skip upload and process files in your directory and that takes you to a page with checkboxes next to the files there and uncheck the duplicates and that should do it. |

Thanks for the replies ladies but it still doesn't seem to be working. I did exactly what you said about skipping upload and it says successful but it doesn't put the images in the queue in the gallery. Then I tried to upload one without a description and it just has another one in the queue now so I have 4 waiting to process. Grrrr! Will they eventually process or am I stuck?

You could PM Robin and ask her to clear your queue for you. I had to do that with Shannon over at DST because my image wouldn't process.

Hmmm...I really have no clue. I went and poked around in the admin area, and don't see them in the queue needing approval. They have to be there, but you probably need more powers than I have to see them, lol.
I would send an email to Robin and see if she can help you. |
