Default Can I just say Apple rocks!!!

I woke up this morning to 3 receipts from iTunes. I had bought a few apps the last few days so thought they were off them, but no! A certain 6 year old had memorised my pw and put it in the iPod touch and spent £125 on coins as an in app purchase?!!! It's not the best 'surprise' to wake up to at 7am lol!

I emailed apple not thinking they would care but within an hour they had emailed back 3 times and said they would refund the money this time only as it's usually against the terms of app purchases! Phew! They also told me how to turn in app purchases off so I've done that and had to change my password so he can't get in any more trouble!

It's scary how easily that can happen. My 3yo bought a game app on my Kindle Fire, luckily it was only $1.99! lol

Michael did a little bit of shopping on Amazon when he was 6 too. Luckily we were able to cancel the purchases before they were processed, since we noticed the email confirmation early enough. Kids are so resourceful when they want to be! I'm glad they refunded you! That is a big purchase!

Ian made some pretty extravagant eBay bids on DH's iPad earlier this week. Fortunately, we were able to retract the bids. Ian has lost his iPad privileges for a while.

yikes! Glad you got it refunded.
My 4 yr old bought a 99cent game once on the ipod touch - then we turned off the wifi whenever she played! Now she knows how to turn that on/off herself, and usually turns it off before she plays, but I am wondering how long it will be before she gets into trouble with it again!

Yikes!!! Glad they refunded your money!!!

Colton is under strict instruction to only get free games and always ask. He uses Lane's account, so he knows big brother will get him, lol!

My 6 year old ordered a movie through Dish Network. Dh caught it and changed the settings so that he had to have a password. To his credit, they make it way too easy to do and he didn't realize we'd have to pay for it. He just thought it looked interesting. My kids are typically really careful about asking if something will cost money before they do it. Any time there is a pop-up they scream for me to come check it out so they don't get in trouble. LOL
