Default Favourite housework songs?

Right now I am addicted to Metric's 'Help, I'm Alive' and I always bust out 'Open Your Heart To Me' by Madonna when I'm doing the ironing or washing up.

What tunes do you groove to ladies?

I like mostly country music but also will listen to 80's music too. Love Skid Row, Poison, Warrant, Motley Crue...just depends on what Im in the mood for at the time.

Well, if it were up to me, I'd put on some 80s hair metal too...but honestly, the sounds in our house are generally the PBS Sprout or Nick Jr variety.

Happy Working Song from Enchanted I don't normally listen to music while I do housework (I also don't normally do housework ) but when I think of a housework song, this'll be it.

For me, it's anything upbeat.

Symphonic pop/metal is cool, like Nightwish or Within Temptation.

Current dance music is fine -- Lady Gaga, to name one. Whatever you may think of her, you can't be lazy while listening to her. Justin Timberlake or Rihanna do the job just as nicely.

I also have several compilations I made for myself that work wonders -- Slovak songs in latino style, the best of 2007 pop music, 80s revival, and such.

I could go on. As I said, it has to be upbeat.

Same for me. :-) Lady Gaga also worked wonders for me when I was staying up late for two months in autumn/winter, creating Christmas stuff.
