Eek, this is scary lol -

$995, if I change it to £ it doesn't sound as much to me though LOL, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to that!

That is from 2008 through today!

My first purchase was And To All A Good Night by Traci Reed and Meghan Mullens.

Oh no, why did I go and add that up?! I know I spend a lot here (I rarely shop elsewhere anymore), but I'm still surprised that my average is over $40 a month . It sounds better if I convert it to € right? Then it's only €30 a month

My average is about $97 a month....when I divide it that way it's all ok! LOL I rarely go shopping (except to buy new electronics that helps in my scrapbooking addiction)!!

Mine isn't bad. I average about $45 a month, but I don't shop every month so I spend about $100 months during the months I shop

My first order was on 2nd of May 2010 and until today I got 109 orders for a total of ca. 510 Dollars. So about 25 Dollars per month.

I found the whole thing interesting and looked at the other few shops I regulary buy or bought til beginning scrapbooking in 2008. None of them is anywhere that high, between 70-170 Dollars. Some I didn't count, I know it can't be much there. So I guess my whole stock including old and deleted things is worth about 1100 Dollars, which is under 1000 Euros in about 4 years.

When I see what I'm planning to spent on a new camera body alone, once I got my bonus from work... even with a lot of useless buying just for the fun of owning pretty kits, I'd say it's still not an incredibly expensive hobby. Books, movies, some sports...they probably would add up way higher. And as my other main hobby is going for walks, I am all fine.

OK I defenitely should not have looked at that total from all the stores I shop at! I have not bought much in a month or so and am trying to use more of my unused kits instead. The purchases are so easy and tempting though...kinda like a candybar or soda when checking out at the grocery store

I couldn't resist--I had to go see how much I'd spent.

First, my original, pre-2008 spending.

Biggest purchase $16.89
# Purchases 20
Grand Total: about $150
Then since 11/2008 I have spent $1010. Not bad for almost 3.5 years. But I can't be too bad because there's no way to sneak it by DH. He used to be a budget analyst and still does all the family accounting. He'd still say I spend too much, but given what he spends on sports television packages each year I may need to spend more...

Well... going way back (at least until the cart change) besides my $73.xx this month, I only spent $7.99 previously. LOL I bought the calendar toppers that Dani and Cindy made. I buy Shabby Princess calendar toppers every year (because ALL of the family, especially the grandparents, expect a calendar every year) but she didn't put out new ones this year and I was in a time crunch and couldn't make my own. Dani's were the closest I've found to Shabby P's and I wanted to stick with a similar look for my calendars as people have come to expect that after 5 years.

Iv added mine up in 15 months I have spent: $314

My 1st purchase cost £17.36 and I got 4 lliella designs kits (beeping in style, party poppin fun, dear santa & beach girls)

so that averages out at $24 per month. Not bad but as DH isnt aware of around $250 worth of purchases I would say im pretty sneaky!!

I'm fairly new to SSD (just discovered last summer). My 1st order was in July 2011 for $6.37. I bought Another Galaxy by Traci and Julie. At the time, I remember trying to find Star Wars kits and finally found this one! Then a designer friend make another at my request. I'm happy lol

Since then, I've spent $159.53.

Funny you mentioned about SP's calendars. MY family only wants SP calendars. I show them other calendars to pick from ISO threads and it's always SP that wins. I didn't realize that she didn't create new ones for 2012 until I started scrapping them! So, now, I have the same ones for this year. I need to branch out now!

Including my total from before the switch, so since March of 2007 (5 years!) I've spent a total of $297.66!!! That's an average of $4.96 a month! I think my hubby would definitely be proud!!

My first purchase was in June 2009 - it was 7-10 Split by Libby and Cardboard Construction Mega Alpha Kit by Traci. I was too scared to add it all up but there were 9 pages and the total at the bottom of each page was always between $50 and $125. Eeek! It never seems like much when you only see $15 here and there but it adds up. And I do buy at a couple other stores too though only occasionally!!
