Default Gallery question

I have just uploaded a layout and none of my credits or journaling saved as I went through the steps of uploading or when I edited my layout afterwards. Is there any solution to that?

Here's what was supposed to be typed in the credits area

What I stand for by Grace Lee
Working Teen by Studio Basic & Megan's Creations
DJB Journal Your Life Script
Younicorn template by Pink Reptile Designs

I never went into this degree or career path with aspirations of making a tonne of money. My aim was to help people, change and improve their lives and be a voice for those in the disability sector that don’t feel they can speak up. I may not be as well known or as vocal as some of my colleagues but I certainly make my voice count where I can. In the past five or so years I have spoken out about simple changes academic staff can make during lectures at post school educational facilities, the long standing issue of part time and casual work, abatements and the general issue of working while gaining a benefit and the issues of finding sustainable worthwhile employment as a disabled person. I’m sure that even once I am fully ingrained into paid employment in the sector I will keep speaking up and my voice will more than likely become even louder than it is now.

Was it by any chance the ampersand in my credit listing that screwed everything up or something else I can't see?

Occasionally the gallery just seems to do that. When it happens to me I just come back and add credits a day or two later. Seems to work then.

For me it's usually the ' (apostrophe). Try removing it from Meagan s creations.

For now, just so you don't forget what you used, you could write a comment and add the credits there. It isn't perfect, but at least the LO will be credited.

Nope that didn’t help either and neither did removing the ampersand

Think that’s what I’ll have to do as none of the usual tricks are working

Having more issues with my layout in the gallery, tried to add in my credits and journaling as a comment by copying and pasting the info and got the following message which I’ve never had here before....You did not fill in the comments or rating field. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? I did consider deleting the whole layout from the gallery but as people have commented I’d rather not lose all the comments

I tried editing it for you but it will only allow me to post the actual credits, not your journaling. I think it might be too long and it won't allow me to post just the journaling with no credits. I'm sorry I couldn't help more! Maybe copy/paste your journaling as a gallery comment under your layout so people can read it there?

Thanks for adding my credits. I’m still getting the error when I’m trying to post my journaling as a comment though but for now at least the layout has credits.

I can try to add them as a comment too if you'd like me to? Just let me know!

I did a quick test by putting in the word testing as a comment and it worked but as soon as I did a post with my journaling I got the same error so I’m beginning to think my issues of posting the details are somehow linked to the journaling.....oh the mystery!

There is an apostrophe in the journaling. Have you tried removing that one too?

That was it! I removed all the apostrophes in your journaling (I had to change out your contractions - don't to do not, etc so I hope that's okay!) and now it works! Thanks for the suggestion Leah!

I discovered a trick a while back, when I copy-paste a credit from my desktop note to the description box, the apostrophe was always the culprit. So what I did was go back and delete the word with the apostrophe in the credit box and type it there and that's it, I don't get anymore issue as long as I type the word with the apostrophe in the credit box itself. Like this layout using Meagan's Creations' kit.
