Default Your scrapping projects

The thread about Book of Me inspired me to this question: What scrapping projects are you continually working on (albums, books etc.)? Or would you like to work on.

I have been simply scrapping chronologically our family memories with an extra page here or there (mainly inspired by SSD challenges) and I'm just planning to do 365-project next year including those weekly pages. I think it would be inspiring to hear the project ideas of others.

I've been doing the monthly review challenge every month using similar kits and the same template...

I'm also scrapping a page for every month of DD's first year and I just started a series of "life lessons" pages for an album for DS..I've only done one page so far though lol

I'm on an all-cards only project. For the past few weeks and coming weeks, I am only making cards for my hybrid. They are card sets of 4 each made of only 1 kit to maintain a theme. I am also creating the gift boxes for these cards. I'll be giving them away for Christmas to my aunts. I've finished 4 sets so far but only have photos for 2:

I'll be photographing the 2 remaining sets tomorrow and making 2 more sets before I'm done.

LOL... I start so many project and I can't get anything done!!

Project 365 this year... I'm caught up with the photos in the template, now just need to decorate... using a different SSD kit double facing pages... not that far on the decorating part...

Weekend trip to St. Paul MN... same type of template through out...

Family trip through Michigan... same type of template again, different kit...

Family Recipe books... same kit

My kiddo at the age of 2...

Others planning...
My Father-in-law's 35 year old history of his Big Band orchestra... I got 20 some pages done for Christmas last year... need to finish...
I have a ton of old heritage photos that I need to put together... my grandfather just passed away and they found two big boxes of photos in the attic. My dad wants to put them all together in an album to record what he knows of the photos.

I do a calendar each year that serves as a Christmas present for the family. I only make the toppers since the bottoms are all pre-made where I get it printed.

However, I don't scrap chronologically so I go back and forth between 2009 and 2004 (the year my first son was born) as the inspiration hits me.

I started thininking of doing a A to Z Album for my boys (things they like, eat, play with, etc.) but it is still in the planning stage. lol

I would also like to make a 5X7 recipe album.

I love that idea too Nikki!

You gals are SO inspiring!

I haven't been working on any specific projects, since Benjamin's first 4 years are non-digital and I don't love my scanner. I just really don't know where to start with things, but I do have all my photos sorted by month, so monthly layouts would a cool idea.

The Book of Me is the only actual project I am doing. I am going to do an alphabet book for each of the kids but I haven't started yet..you know like "A is for Adorable" kind of things. That's all so far though.

Actually, my I'm pretty caught up. I want to do a book of me, I have an entire notebook filled up with the journaling, but I'm not ready to start it yet.

I'm working on my SIL's wedding album at the moment, very slowly too, I might add.

I have a few ideas I want to do like I started a graduation book for my daughter. Kinda a memory book for her senior year. Then I started a book for my husband scrapping reasons why I love him but only done 1 page so far LOL. And of course the random memory pages for each of my three kids. Then I was doing the month at a glace as well using a template I made up myself. I think I am up to September or August.

I haven't started any projects yet but I do have a few projects that I want to start.
-Recipe cards or a book. I have all my families recipes and a ton of others that I've collected from all over the place that I'd like to get on paper...and maybe it will inspire me to cook...lol.
-Book of Me. I felt so inspired, so now I have to do it.
-Hybrid projects in general...I'm really starting to get into it but I have no idea where I want to start.
-Some sort of a hybrid project for my niece/her mother. I have pictures of her for each month and I plan on putting them all together some way for her mother once she turns a year old. (I have til May to finish this one)
-Project 365. Since I just bought a new computer I am bound and determined to do this next year.
And I really should work on the book I started for me and my boyfriend when we started dating 4 years ago. However, when I started that I did it all traditional scrapbooking style. So I'm thinking about restarting it digital style.

And I really would like to start a blog. I have a blogger id but I haven't used it. I'm just not sure what I want to write about. Any ideas?

Cute stuff you guys! I had seen some of your month-ineview pages Nikki, but I hadn't realize they were all the same template. They look great together!

My big project this year has been to do a monthly top-ten favorites list each month, with a new photo taken that month...

And I just realized I'm missing March, haha. I had planned to do as a special Disneyworld edition and completely forgot, oops!

I'm also started doing Project 365 back in June when my DH deployed but I haven't done much other than taking photos for it. Oh, and I'm trying to do regular (like every 2 months or so) deployment reviews so that I can kind of capture what the whole experience was like, good or bad.

I'm so jealous! I feel like caught up is something I'll NEVER be! I do NOT scrap in order, so maybe that's part of my problem... I never really know when I'm 'finished' with a year, LOL!

As for projects, every year I do a year-ineview layout with a 2-pg spread for each month, highlighting the high points & memories for that month. Then I print it in bound albums & give it to parents & grandparents for Christmas. I also print loose 12x12's of each page and insert them in my albums (assuming I ever finish any) as the header layout for each month of the year. Works pretty well, if I can stay organized and on top of it... so far this year I am failing misserably, as I have yet to start a single one!

Also, earlier this month, we went on a steam train excursion with DFIL & DH's grandfather. I am putting together a very basic, no bells & whistles, picture album for his grandfather. I think it will be pretty simple, so hopefully that one won't take me long!

Yikes...just lost a huge post.

basically, I'm just working on our trip to Europe with my son's band a few years ago. I need to finish those and then the book for his senior year in band.

I'm making two books of the trip, and the two styles I'm doing are:

When Luke was learning his colors, I made him a colors book. It was done traditionally, since I'd never heard of digital scrapbooking. LOL But you could totally do it digitally.

Each page had a pic of him in whatever color was highlighted on that day. THen, the papers & embellishments were all the same color. He still pulls it out and he's known his colors for almost four and a half years! ha ha!

I'm doing a 365 Project but it is more of a photo book than a scrapbook. I use Blurbs software to assemble the pages. I do a layout every month using those photos for the Monthly challenge & they will be the dividers for each month in the book. I do a Journal Your Christmas album every year and I make calendars for the family. I'm also working on shimelle's Learn Something New everyday class but that is very slow going album for me.

I'm doing Project 365 and I use a simple QP set to do my weekly pages. Since the background is plain white, I can move around the elements on the page to suit my pictures for the week.
