Kids for Halloween
So what are you kids going to be dressed up for this Halloween?
Mine are going to be a race car driver and a blue crayon.

We are struggling with this at the moment... I think so far I have a Buzz Lightyear, a Perry the Platypus (HOW am I going to make that?) and my middle guy isn't sure. This year the boys have at least 2 costume parties with their friends, plus trick or treat, so they want "GOOD" costumes... LOL!

PROBABLY Aurora. That's the one costume she has that doesn't drag on the ground a bit...so it'll be safer for her to walk around in. She's also getting a mermaid costume for her birthday next week, but I'm thinking it'll be a bit big as well.

Punk rocker, Butterfly fairy, and Luigi from Super Mario Brothers.
They each picked their own costumes this year so they don't match and I'm a bit bummed. I tried to steer the younger two toward Princess Peach and Mario but the littlest one is the only one who took the direction. LOL

agh i have no idea.
First they were going to be batman and bat girl. Then it was jessie and woody. Then jessie and buzz lightyear. Then they decided that J was going to be a ninja and abby was going to be his sidekick. Then J told her that no, she would be his MINION. (I died laughing). She doesn't want to be a minion, apparently. So, I think we're back to Jessie and Woody or Jessie and Buzz Lightyear depending on what costumes I can find. Dang kids.

My daughter chose Batman when I took her to the store... lol... so I got her the Batgirl costume. She is obsessed with super heroes - especially Spiderman and Batman.

We haven't shopped for costumes yet, probably sometime this weekend but I have no idea what they'll pick. It takes us forever to choose costumes cause the girls constantly change their minds! Last year Kaylie was a midnight fairy, Kelsie was a witch and Kyle was a T-Rex and Kyle has already said he wants to be a T-Rex again this year so we'll see!

I have No. idea. what.so.ever.
Maybe Dr/Nurses. They all have a set of scrubs from our visit to UC Davis in April. Also thought about having 2 princesses & a lil' frog. I would like for them all to match. Last year we had Cinderella & one of the Mice, now there are 3.

we are going to a family Halloween party..and we are undecided the theme is Party Like a Rock star...I thinkt his is what we have so far...

Evelyn is being a Shark (she's 3 and a half) Can I tell you how I wish we were princesses and fairies and the like? I do not have girly girls - last year we were a jaguar and a pink and orange dinosaur. The year before a cat and a dog.

Troy is going to be Thomas the Train. He's dying to wear his costume and begs me to let him wear it every day. Rachel is going as a pumpkin. We bought a cute sleeper outfit for Lilly to wear but I'm begining to wonder if she'll be here for Halloween.

I think Blake is going to be a Frankenstein. He wants to be something spooky - his first choice was a ghost but I think 3 yrs old is a little young to be a ghost lol. I need to make a trip to Goodwill or the Salvation Army to find a gray jacket for him to wear. He's excited!

I don't know for sure..... we're getting there though.
the oldest wants to be Tiana (princess and the frog) The middle one wants to be a ballerina fairy (a purple one like on her pajamas of course) And the babe... who knows. Probably a princess because we have lots of dress up princess clothes! I wanted them to all go together (or at least all be princesses), but my middle girl REALLY wanted to be a barbie forever (it just changed) and I don't want to force her.

This is so funny - all these traditional costumes and my kid wants to be Indiana Jones!!! This is what happens when your mom is an archaeologist and you makes them watch the history channel all day!!!! My kid is a nerd!!! - But a happy nerd - I think he is going to have to go around and explain to all the other kids what he is!!!!!

Landon is going to be an OU football player.
Our foster son is going as a Peanut (2 months old and that is what we call him!)  My hubby is going as Bob Stoops (OU's coach) I have no idea what I am going to be. Landon thinks I should go as an army girl but I was thinking more along the lines of Rosie the Riveter. We will see.

My oldest (8) is going to be a Ninja (again - sigh). My little guy (3) is supposed to be a firefighter (like his dad) because his grandma bought him a costume for his birthday.
 However, if I can find an inexpensive Mickey Mouse costume, that's what he will be going as (since he is OBSESSED with Mickey and has been for 2 years now). LOL!!!

We have two sets of costumes too...
For school...Nat is going as a witch, but a very very glamorous one. Kiki can't dress up for school, so I bought her an absurd tutu and we'll put her in all kinds of crazy stuff. For Halloween, we bought them both Disney Store costumes...Nat is going as Rapunzel, complete with hair and Keira is going as Tinkerbell with light up wings. We aren't letting them wear them to school b/c we are going to put them away for when we go back to Disney this coming June.
