two questions....
1. Is there any chance to save these photos and make them a little better?
2. What do I do wrong with the modes???

It just looks like it is underexposing them for some reason.

You can use a noise reduction program to make them better. The Daily Digi had a post about them (http://thedailydigi.com/category/com...ps-and-tricks/)

Have you played with the modes outside where there is more light? Mine get all grainy like that when I don't use a flash or I have my shutter speed way too fast. Are you trying to use an action mode on your camera? Kids are hard!

Hope something helps!

hi girls,

wooohooo thanks sooo much for the tip with the noise reduction programm! I will try it and let you know if this helps....

I have set the iso-mode to automatic and maybe will try to use another mode.... when I use action mode the photos are like this too if you look closer.... I think I need to try more with the camara...

I have the highest resolution on, that my camara has :-)

but thanks for the tip with the noise reduction! I hope I can use this photos with this option, because there are some really important ones for me with the grain...

Thanks for your help girls!!!

Claudi, I agree with the other posters, it looks like part of it has to do with the lighting in the area where the photo was taken. You tend to get a lot of digital camera noise in photo taken in low light (sometimes the camera will compensate by increasing the ISO). If you don't want to invest in a pricey noise reduction software, you can try the noise reduction feature within your program. I know PS has has a noise reduction feature, as does PSP (not sure about PSE). Sometimes converting the photo to black and white will help too. Lighting is definitely my nemesis!
