"Scrapping"...and by scrapping I mean whiling away the naptime hour(s) on Pinterest with Photoshop open somewhere on my computer.
We did just get home from a dinosaur exhibit at the local nature center, and hopefully we'll be hitting the pool at the gym after naps are done.

Been playing with my kid. We are at my mother's house. She went to visit a friend that is in the hospital after a fall (she broke a vertebrae in her neck). Every once and awhile I peek into the forum and see what's going on!

Sunday morning church services and then home for a late lunch with the kiddos. I spent a couple of hours baking cookies to send DH for his birthday..it's not til the 13th but I have to send it out this week to make sure it gets there in time. After that we spent a good hour outside but summer has arrived in the South and I'm all wilted and tired now lol. About to figure out some supper for these little ones and then hopefully get them in bed soon because Game of Thrones is tonight!

went to the store to get a wireless printer because my printer pretty much sucks. Umm went to lunch with my husband. Went to Bed Bath & Beyond and got a slushy machine (for me mostly LOL). Got some stuff for the house. Came home. Now I am resting.

Saw my mom off this morning for a visit with my brother for the next few weeks, finished the housework and laundry and am now able to scrap. Except I gotta walk the dog. He doesn't get that scrapping comes first. lol

My daughter's birthday is tommorrow and she had her best friend come over to play today. Four and a half hours of squealing little girls being trailed by a giggling little boy, a toddler and a baby! Cake, ice cream, hot dogs on the grill. I'm exhausted now. LOL!

I worked all day. Then when I came home, I got all ticked off cause the building I live in is a mess AGAIN and I am the one who cleans it and someone parked in my spot. This apparently put me into a bad mood. Then I went to Target to buy contact solution for $5 and left with $46 worth of stuff, of course. Now I am watching Office Space and playing on the puter. Hoping my friend comes over tonight so I can see Hunger Games, but since he still hasn't texted me, I don't have high hopes. Damn men.

We went down to Panera today for lunch and so I could meet with my Sunday knitting group. Grocery shopping after, now dinner prep and a DVD. Work in the morning, so it'll be an early night tonight.

It's Monday here. Kids are at school, and I'm not needed at work, so I went shopping and got all the Easter chocolate/bunny stuff for this weekend. After school the little one has her gymnastics prizegiving (just an end of term one).

LOL it's Monday here as well Going to work on a writing assignment. But this weekend was just BLISS--scrapped a little and vegged a LOT! And I gave myself a mani too, Robin I'm thinking of getting my hair done before everything closes for Holy Week here.

Sick DH and 2 recovering kids here I squeezed in a little scrapping time this morning, was busy most of the day with the usual child helping, meal making, kitchen cleaning, laundry folding, etc. Ran to the grocery store for the few things I needed right away, (Sunday evening is usually grocery night, but DH didn't want me to be gone for too long), now we're finally at bedtime for the kids. I'm going to go make myself a salad for dinner and try to get some scrapping time in. Spring break is just starting here, so it will be a busy week.

It's been a really good day. Church this morning followed by a breakfast brunch (pancakes, yum!) at the local diner. Then, home to play with our new pet bird who is suddenly tame and extremely friendly. LOL. The kids went down for a nap (but didn't sleep) and I stalked the forums for a bit on the laptop since DH was on the desktop (where I scrap).

When they "woke up" we got into our swimsuits and headed over to the pool in our neighborhood but it had no water in it! So we hopped in the car and headed to the beach instead. It was a perfect beach day, 78 degrees and sunny, very busy there. We waited 15 minutes to find somewhere to park. Once we hauled the kids, chairs, umbrella, towels, buckets, shovels, and cooler onto the beach the lifeguard said there were sharks in the water. So, no swimming. Obviously. All was not lost, though, this beach had great rocks for climbing that catch small pools of water in between them. We spent the afternoon catching crabs, snails, and little crayfish. Once the shark risk was cleared we swam a bit. By we I do not mean ME. No way, Hosea.

The day was finished off nicely with a trip to the beach burger/fries & ice cream shack. Then home for showers and a little Wii before the kids went to bed. Now I hope to scrap... once I'm finished with this novel, that is.

Mmm. It was a nice day for the beach today! There was this sweet little breeze--not too hot! It made we want to go. I went last weekend when my MIL was here. Still a little tan from that.

It was gorgeous!! I always grumble about going to the beach. It's extra work. But I always am glad to be there once I get there! I get tan from one trip to the beach, too. In the summer I am a whole different shade.
