scanner question/help :]
so miss shawna sent me her old scanner... which is awesomeness :]
I got it all up and working today, but we have a problem.. There are vertical stripes on everything scanned (this is a pre-existing condition ^_^ not something that happened during shipping). The lines are not going in the same direction as the scanny bar.. and they're fat..so it's weird. The scanner model is HP ScanJet 4600- it's a flatbed scanner.. any ideas???

My solution - release a set of monochromatic stripy kraft papers this week. Work on fixing it next week.

lmao...I was so wondering if it was supposed to be that way, too. It looks like great paper. I have never seen anything like that though, I have no idea why it would be doing something like that. I would go to HP tech support and see if they will help.

I agree with this plan.
