Default Facebook Fan Page question

Is there a way to permanently say no to joining someone's fan page? I keep clicking ignore when I get the requests but they're coming every few days and it's starting to get really annoying.

You can block individual's, you might be able to block the fan page. It's in your privacy settings.

LOL, there's a certain someone (not on this site) who keeps sending me fan requests too. It's extremely annoying when they send them on a daily basis...get a clue!

I ignore them once. They send me a fan request again, I delete them as a friend. That's how I roll.

UGH! I have a certain someone that invites me to her fan page at least once a week... thinking if it happens again I'll de-friend her.

LOL! Thanks for the motivation!

I just ended up unfriending the two people who were doing it all the time. I feel kind of bad but it was seriously daily or even more than once a day. It wouldn't be such a big deal but I get notifications sent to my email as well and seeing them show up in the inbox I just worked so hard to clear out was really annoying me.

I really miss the old days of Facebook from when I was in college. It was so much more simple back then.

Then I have a question for you girls. I'm going to be heading up six different fan pages for the business I work for. We have 6 stores, and they all want their own fan page. I'm hoping people join our fan pages, but I'm not going to send out requests. We are just going to let them know in an email and when they visit in the store. If they want to join they can, but how many posts would be too much for me to make on the fan pages? Would twice a week be too annoying, or could I even do three without upsetting people?

Yeah, what La said. It doesn't have anything to do with posts to the actual fan page itself. It's the constant "So and so suggests you become a fan of ABC Designs," especially when it's for their own fan page. As long as you don't do that, you should be good.

I pretty much don't join fan pages unless it's a person I actually know and interact with regularly (a random forum drive-by isn't gonna cut it), or I use the product. So when 859048902343 recommend a random photographer, or a business, or what have you, I ignore those.

I'm a FB Nazi, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I go through my friends list at least once a month.

See this is why I don't have a fan page or even many facebook friends. I won't go around requesting to be friends with everyone. If they want to be a friend then I assume they will find me. I wish all fan pages were like that.

I just de-friend people that continuously send me fan page invites. Even more.. I love when I deny someone a friend request and they continue to request to be my friend over and over. Really.. if I didn't accept you the first, second or even fifth time you requested to be my friend.. chances are, I'm not going to accept your friend request on the tenth time either.

This is really good to know. I don't get a lot of fan page requests, but I'm not on facebook a lot. I will be doing it for the business, but it won't be under my name...I am the company and I won't get any of the emails. I would just hate to piss people off, kwim?

i have people doing that too, I'm just guilty of adding them, then never going back just so I don't have to deal with the constant requests. I get enough from people idk and the games with all the gifts, and etc. I just don't bother anymore!

I ignore the game stuff and hide it. And as far as those people, I just delete them. My goal is not to have the most friends.

I can't even find my fan pages on the new facebook... And yes, the persistent multiple request people suck.

Ugh isn't it so annoying to get multiple requests? I kept ignoring this one girl and finally gave in because I was tired of the requests. I might have to go through my friends list to see who I really want on there.

I had to unfriend someone who sent fan page requests out every other day to me. I can't believe that person doesn't understand that it's super-annoying to get those in the ol' email inbox.
