Default my turn to brag...
I know most of you know that I had gastric bypass surgery back in December of 08. Well, today was my one year check up (albeit 2 months late). My blood pressure is below normal (a HUGE feat), my joint pain is gone, I don't have sleep apnea anymore, and well, I'm a totally different person. I am officially down 125 lbs. It's still so surreal to me. Anyway...here's the difference from then and now.

Laura - you ROCK! Congrats on achieving so much. I think so many people think that gastric bypass is the "easy" way out of losing weight. But, I've had a few people close to me who have had the surgery, and it definitely isn't easy. You look fantastic, and I'm so glad you're so much more healthy! Big HUGS!

Thanks girls! I realize that it's a huge physical change but seriously Jae, you hit it on the head...there's so much I'm noticing now (mentally and health wise) that I never had even known exsisted before!
